[Champion Concept/Ability Concept] LAZERIUS, Inquisition of amnesia
Lazerius is a character from a d&d campaign I made, and I wanted to convert him into a league of legends champion. Because his lore would defenitely not fit into runaterra, I decided to change it according to the runaterran lore. Lazerius - the name is all what remained. Everything else has been forgotten. Lazerius is a "Nivir", an essence of amnesia itself, a spirit bound to what is forgotten, feeding on the rotten memory of nothingness. He strifes through runaterra, searching things that have been lost - and forgotten - and uses them to empower his might. As times passed, Lazerius slowly turned into a walking vessel for the artifacts he carried. He does not have a shape or body, he is only a coat, two gauntlets and a pair of boots. The chains within him are always waiting to be unleashed. Lazerius is a murderous, silent guy who only wants to spread amnesia, securing artifacts by killing everyone who is able to remember them. And he is not alone: The other nivir are wandering around, though no one could notice them: they are leaving only broken memory and vast emptiness behind. Lazerius and his kin are consuming parts of runaterran history, waiting patiently for the fall of another empire to revel in it's ruins.
They are stealthy collections of artifacts and embodiments of amnesia and decay.
Look of Lazerius Lazerius is wearing a grey, hooded and old cloak over a nonexistent body, a shadow. Two small red shards are floating right where his eyes should be. His feet and his hands are covered by armor with bronzen colour. At his back, he is carrying a harp (unused in his kit, could be used while having w activated), his weapons are spiky chains with blades(but they are inside his gauntlets most of the time. These gauntlets are artifacts that can hide any item inside them. And they are infused with time magic - a little bit.
The harp is an artifact, too but not yet forgotten. Lazerius seeks out those who remember it atm.

. Lazerius is concepted as an assassin with fighter-elements. He's the guy who runs into the enemy team taking out one or two targets with enough backup, moving through the forgotten walkways of the rift.

. Probably the most interesting part of a champion-concept.
Passive: Garunatos's coat No one remembers who Garunatos was. His spirit is captured in the coat, mourning and tortured by memories, craving for amnesia, the power, that corrupted him.
Lazerius starts the game with Garunatos's coat(an item). He can't sell it, but he can upgrade it to any of the following items for 100 gold less(It's still upgradeable and it's still Garunatos's Coat, but gains the stats and effects of the upgrades. All these items grant bonus AD at the cost of 50% of their stats =convertet into AD at the same gold value -except- the items that are already granting AD. AP is converted to AD at the same gold value.)

Garunatos's coat has an unique active: Garunatos's Echo. Summons Garunatos's spirit, who is wearing a heavy armor that is covering all of his body, on target location within 900 units. He is wielding two thin, long and spectral blades. Garunatos(who is invulnerable) is walking slowly towards Lazerius. Every second Garunatos starts an attack (Skillshot with 200 range and 0,25 sek delay that does not prevent Garunatos from moving), attacking the nearest enemy unit, prioritizing champs. This attack deals 50% of Lazerius's AD. If the coat is reactivated, Lazerius abilities turn into Garunatos's abilities. This effect ends if the coat is reactivated another time. If one of Garunatos's abilities is on cooldown, it is replaced with Lazerius's ability until it cooled down. Garunatos's R causes him to disappear. He disappears automatically after 6/7,5/9 seconds. After that, the Cloak cannot be used for 60 seconds. This cooldown is reduced if Garunatos disappeared with his R.
Lazerius should definitely use this in a dangerous 1v1 or in teamfights, but also to finish off an enemy (or knocking an enemy to Lazerius with Garunatos's Q). Building Lazerius bursty ensures that the fights are shorter so that Garunatos can be recalled and summoned more often.
Garunatos's abilities (They do not cost any resources) Q: A thin, fast skillshot with 1500 range. Strucks units, stops at the first enemy champion hit. 3 sec CD 150 units knockback, 55/75/95/115/135 (+30% AD) DAMage. The knockback snares enemies, if they are knocked against a wall (=they are pinned against the wall)
W: This affects an area just as evelynnes ultimate, but the affected area is smaller. 5 sec CD. Garunatos does a quick slash, maiming or tricking Lazerius's opponents. If the opponent hit looks into Garunatos's direction, he will receive a little bit true damage and a 25% slow. If the opponent hit looks more into Lazerius's direction, Lazerius will receive +100% AS and +15% Critchance for 1,75 seconds.
E: 8 sec CD, Garunatos starts to scream and to burn for 2 seconds: this deals true damage equal to 20% of Lazerius's AD in an 400 units - area around Garunatos per second. Applies on-hit effects.
. Back to Lazerius's abilities Q: Forgotten Verdict The forgotten Verdicts are rattling: Just like breathing. Eager to purge this world form the burdens of memory. To hear their verdict is to die.
This ability represents the weapons of Lazerius, his blade-chains. In the campaign, the chains use to behead it's victims. This is hard to transfer to the league, but I tried to keep the instakill part. Well...
Passive: +5/7,5/10/12,5/15% Critchance Lazerius crits are instakilling enemies below 50% health(or 33% health if their maximum health is more than 1,5 times of Lazerius's HP) conditionally. Lifesteal is only applied as if it was a normal crit. This critanimation is 0,75(does not impair movement) seconds and very different from the normal Critanimation. If Q is not pressed during the animation, the attack will only deal normal critdamage. During the animation the Q turns to: execute. Execute is a skillshot with a 0,5 second delay (300 range, noone sees where you are aiming at). If this hits an enemy with said health condition, this enemy will die. It will deal only normal critdamage to enemies that are too healthy.
Active: Lazerius's next basic attack has +300 units range and +50% as(may exceed max-as) If this attack causes delays, Lazerius will block every cc and autoattack that trys to hurt him during these delays. This buff lasts for 2 seconds. Lazerius gains +15% movement speed towards enemies as long as this buff lasts. 25% energy cost, 5 sec cd
W: Sanctuary of amnesia 50% energycost, Active: 23/21/19/17/15 sec Cd, affects a 250-radius with the aura. Lazerius is being granted 99% damage reduction, 99% tenacity and a slowaura (10/13/15/17/20%). During the duration (2/2,5/3/3,5/4) Lazerius cant attack. - Garuntos, however, is still able to do his stuff. With reactivating this ability or activating another of his own abilities, Lazerius stops the effect.
This is a spell that Lazerius is casting from his own powers without using one of the corrupted artifacts. During the effect, Lazerius is glowing white and is raising his arms(or playing his harp?)
E: Judgement of time 40% energy cost, 9 sec CD. Lazerius uses his gauntlets to fire a skillshot that disrupts time. It is a straight line (1100 range), but after 500-750 range, the skillshot bounces from the ground. In this area, it can only hit knocked up - enemies. The first enemy hit will be slowed very much for 2/2,25/2,5/2,75/3 seconds. Another spirit rises next to him (a non-humanoidic, dark thing made of polyeders) This spirit moves in a 400 unit-circle around the enemy, reducing his sight slightly (doubled quinn-q) and denying access to the minimap.
A movementspeedbuff is granted to Lazerius as long as he is moving towards his opponent, a larger buff, if he is moving around his opponent (buffs AD slightly, too)
R: The Synlokutor The Synlokutor is a very precious object lost long ago. Lazerius was able to find it soon. The Synlokutor opens passages all around runaterra, which are ancient and forgotten, even if they no longer exist (time magic). This ability is not adjusted for maps other than SR. Moreover, Lazerius has given the Synlokutor his personal touch.
The Synlokutor is a rather small, mildly glowing sphere with a thorn.
Passive: If Lazerius is rightclicking an ancient entry next to him, it opens to let Lazerius through. This entry cant be activated again for 3/2/1 second. Within a passage (stones floating away to let Lazerius pass, flickering time...), Lazerius gains 99% damage reduction, 99% tenacity and doubled movementspeed, but cannot attack or cast abilities. If Lazerius stays for more than 2/3/4 seconds in such a walkway, he will receive true damage over time. Lazerius can't be targeted by towers while within an ancient path.

Active:(No energy cost, 65 sec CD) Lazerius's next basic attack against a champion (lasts for 7 seconds) will pierce the champion with the synlokutor for additional bonus damage, granting true vision of him and deaking very little damage over time that will not interrupt recalls. With a reactivation, Lazerius may return the synlokutor to him, stunning the pierced champion for 0,75/1,1/1,5 seconds.
