My thoughts on a Yorick rework...

One thing they could do is remove the spooky ghosts from Frost QC and then give them to Yorick as an ability along with them doing damage that scales off of AP/AD. Another option is having the slow scale of AP and the damage they do scale off of AD, meh idk, something like that.

He still needs too summon ghouls/ghosts/zombies in some form or another but they need to be a bit more interesting.

An example- All his current scaling is irrelevant and would be adjusted to give him an appropriate amount of damage etc.

Passive: every so many seconds a zombie spawns near Yorick and wanders around near him staying within a certain area of influence. He can have a certain max number active (3) and can stack zombie summons up to (3). If a zombie dies and he has a stack then a stack is consumed and a new zombie is spawned. (Yoricks abilities empower his zombies) When a zombie spawns it isn't empowered even if Yoricks other zombies are currently empowered. Zombies can only be empowered by two abilities at a time, the oldest empowerment falls off if a new one is given, and empowerment effects stack. Zombies stay empowered and remain until they are killed.

Q - Empowers next AA and marks the target with zombie catnip making all zombies target the marked one as long as the target remains in Yoricks area of influence. Target will remain marked until a new target is marked. This does not count towards a zombies total stacks of empwowerment.

W - Empowers Yoricks zombies giving them AS, Armor Pen, and lifesteal/spellvamp which heals the zombies mainly but also Yorick for a small percentage of what they heal.

E - Empowers Yoricks zombies with MS, Magic Pen, and gives them a magic burning/slowing aura

R - Immediately summons up to max(3) number of zombies near Yorick as well as stacking his passive all they way to max(3) and consumes max stacks of passive summoning the claws/arms of (3) zombies to reach up and root the 3 lowest current HP targets(doing a flat amount of damage the rooted targets) while doing a percentage of damage based on the total HP missing from the 3 targets to all other enemies in a/the target area (imagine something like Swains root but used kind of like a large Chogath knockup). Then after the root finishes the 3 zombies spawn from the ground and are added to Yoricks horde (max 6) at which point he no longer gains stacks on his passive until his horde count drops to 3. At over 3 in his horde the R ability can be used to cull a zombie from his horde restoring mana and hp to Yorick.

Boom! Yorick rework done! ;)

Edit: they don't have to be zombies exactly if pathing is an issue. They could be floating ghosts/ghouls like normal that can be moved through etc.

Good, I really like the passive. It's fitting and balanced. but Riot would try to pay a bit of homage to the original Yorick. These are close to the normal Yorick I guess, Q is Q, W is E and E is W. But R is too different, what it Yorick sacrificed one of the ghouls to make the reverent of an ally.

Maybe make it so a ghoul can only be enhanced with one buff, adding another buff should over write the first. This is for balance sake. I also think that Qv should be counted as an empowerment as well for consistency sake, it makes sense. If they leave the range of Q, that should take the agro off until Yorick hits Q on them again.

This isn't that unique and colorful. It doesn't really emphasize on his Ghouls. Stat buff's like this W and E are kinda boring. This isn't the best idea, but its a start. His Q also just makes him kinda toxic still as they just follow you unless you walk away, so its got counterplay.
