Mordekaiser Rework Ideas?

I've mained Mordekaiser since early S7 and always hated the idea of a rework, but then I started getting some ideas. I read through his lore and was truly stunned of what he really represented. He controls spirits and uses them to conquer others in ways that are cruel and evil. This shows in the game with his ultimate. But there are other aspects to him. He can control metal which appears in his W ability. His revenant side shows through his E ability. And Nightfall is brought to life with his Q ability.

But there was so much more possibilities. Usually when people build Mordekaiser, they build AP or AD with some armor. While this works in a way, he could be a lot more dynamic. I got some inspiration from Kayn and Orianna. My idea is that from lvl 1-5 he would remain the same. From 6 and higher, his ult would determine his path, similar to the idea of Kayn's different forms. The first form would focus on his revanant side in controlling his evil power and his ghost army. His second side being his controlling of metal. Both sides would keep his Q ability as to stabilize his powerful melee option. Overall I would like to look into his revanant side being able to control smaller temporary ghosts in a group containing, jungle creatures, minions, etc. This would not over push him early game as he would only be able to reach each side at about lvl 7-8. On the other side with controlling metal. He could end up having more ranged attacks similar to Orianna's Q or Taliyah's Q.

In order to reach these paths, his ultimate would be similar, but instead of leaving behind a ghost, it would collect a soul for any kill or assist on the marked champ. The ghost dragon would still work the same with the passive of his ultimate. In order to choose either path, he must collect these souls. Otherwise he would still be able to remain on his normal 1-5 path. Once he collects enough souls he can "purchase" a path and further change it with another "purchase". In order to keep him versitile, he can keep one champions soul and summon it within a certain time of harvesting it. If he does not summon it, it simply acts as a dormant soul that can be used to choose a path. If he gains another soul during this time, it replaces the other and restarts the cool down.

These are just some ideas and please criticize me and leave any questions, or feedback below.

I am well aware that Mordekaiser has already been reworked btw.
