Tephra, the Undying Bloodwitch
The Witch is a mobile ranged mage who fights dirty, delaying her death and using her blood as a resource. She marks her victims and focuses down each enemy while quickly moving around the outskirts of her own battle field. Lore - Tephra and her sister witches were a dying kind, they were slowly found out one by one and met horrible fates to her villages relief. Drowned in the lake, chained to bows of ships, hung, beheaded and burnt alive at the stake, were the ways her village executed her coven, until only a few witches and Tephra remained. While her sisters urged her to give up the craft and live as the villagers, she became obsessed with immortality, reading about special gems and metals that could make potions to provide one with life and youth. She heard of plants and exotic creature's bones that would prevent and mend physical harm. She began using darker and risky magics that took her blood and left her hurt, but to her the reward was worth it. She brewed her potions cautiously at first, like she had always but she became reckless and started brewing ferociously in her desperation giving away strong hints that she practiced the craft.
The villagers caught on to the last witches and one night they prepared the stake, raised their torches and pitchforks storming Tephra's home. Her potions, ingredients and scraps of recipes and spells littered the house, and her potions bubbled so loudly next to her while she sat repeating her incantations and tending to her cuts that she missed the cries for blood. They took her from her work as she struggled against them, weak from her dark magics and tied her up. She had to stand on the burnt skeletons she knew were her last sisters. Alone with tear streaks running down her face she lifted her head to face the village, the soil turned beneath their feet and she laid her havoc upon them. She felt the life of the fallen among them slip into the ground below. Torches were thrown at the hay beneath her and soon the flames tore through the darkness, but when they reached her, her potion saturated clothes turned the flames purple and became laced with magic. They swirled around her and seared her flesh, her clothes took the light and became a blanket of fire over her body. When the fire reached her hair it burnt so powerfully it left her skull exposed. She continued her attack through the full brunt of the incineration. The villagers were slowly being culled down and they become very fearful, no other burning had taken so long. But soon her attacks softened and stopped, she was dead. The villagers, sad to lose so many, happy to now be safe and free of the witches, relaxed as faintly purple wisps of red slashed across the soil to the still-burning fire. Her body was still pressed against the stake while bloodied purple magic welled up and pulsed from within her lifeless corpse, spreading through her veins and clung to her injuries, healing them, as the purple flames no longer harmed her but were absorbed by her. Each burn and every scratch was undone and she slowly opened her eyes. With the rope now burnt away she was free to avenge her sisters. Her heart was pounding in her chest and with her blood pumping she let her wrath lay waste to the village, using the magic in the fire to make it spread. All life was burned away when she was finished and she realized all her potions and magics had worked. Still to this day she stays a young witch, but now she has grown her strength and powers so she might never have to live through another day she is over powered by a village. She has admitted herself to the League of Legends where she can learn to perfect her immortality in the unique battlefields.
Abilities -
Passive: Cursed Land/Blood Magic
Cursed Land - Tephra sacrifices some of her health to place Cursed Land with her abilities; which hold her blood, last 10 seconds and there cannot be more than one at a time. Cursed Land is a large circular area that holds two concentric parts: an inner 'Turned Soil Circle' and an outer 'Ley Line Ring'. Within the Ring she gains movement speed and range enough to use her spells and auto attacks anywhere within the Circle. Blood Magic - When Tephra is out of mana she starts using health to pay for her abilities. Damaging enemies within the Circle saps their life into the Cursed Land (life stored is capped, cap rises with level and no life lost by the Witch is stored), if she is within the Ring when the Cursed Land dissipates she is healed for a portion of the life stored. If she dies within the Ring the life stored rushes to her so she can live on.
Q: Witch's Play Thing
Tephra throws a vile of her potion down a line, smashing against the first enemy in it's path soaking their clothes, marking them as 'The Witch's Play Thing' for 7 seconds. During this time they take damage each second and allow additional effects from Tephra's other abilities. Killing a Play Thing will reduce the ability's cooldown.
Cursed Land - This spell places Cursed Land when ever it hits an enemy, prematurely dissipating the previous Cursed Land if it had been placed. Cursed Land is placed where the potion smashes.
W: Witch's Pulse
Tephra's heart starts to beat very fast and after a short delay she synchronizes her pulse to the blood of the Cursed Land where it explodes out in the Turned Soil Circle sending a magical surge through the earth dealing damage, slowing enemies within.
Witch's Play Thing - If 'The Witch's Play Thing' is in the Turned Soil Circle they are silenced.
Cursed Land - If the Land isn't placed, it will be starting the delay.
E: Witch Walk
Tephra instantly teleports to her enemy, displacing them a short distance in the direction Tephra came from and dealing damage.
Witch's Play Thing - If Tephra Witch Walks to 'The Witch's Play Thing' and they're standing within the Turned Soil Circle then she pushes them back into the center, she is also knocked back by this to the closest part of the Ring.
Cursed Land - If the Land isn't placed, it will be where the enemy is displaced to.
R: Burn with the Witch
The inner Circle Erupts with the purple flames Tephra first died in dealing damage each second for 5 seconds. Perfecting her immortality, each level in Burn with the Witch reduces her time spent dead.
Witch's Play Thing - If The Witch's Play Thing is in the Circle when it erupts, they will be tied to the stake, snaring them while they burn.
Cursed Land - If the Land isn't placed, this will place it where it's cast.
