I've occasionally been tempted when the enemy team consists of immobile melee champions who can burst me.
It seems like it would be a dickish purchase on Kalista since it would let you kit everyone without multiple gap closers and you get Runaan's Hurricane anyways. Not optimal, but potentially fun.
