Champion Concept: Artulo, Mage of the circle
Hello Community, hereby I would like to present my first champion concept on these boards. I would be happy if you would take your time to read through it; constructive criticism is of course greatly appreciated. I allow Riot Games to use this concept for their own purposes and would like to be informed, should this happen.
Story: Artulo is the last survivor of an ancient Ionian wizardry guild. While he expertly wields the unearthly power of the eight circles of might, all influence his order exerted in the past has vanished long ago in the shadow of an atrocious war they had to fight against a foe long forgotten. Although they remained victorious, the rite they had to perform in order to defeat their enemy depended completely on the perfect placement of four magic circles. The wizard entrusted with placing these was Artulo, and he swore he would not fail his order. But when the battle reached his climax and everything stood on the line, Artulo was involved in a fierce fight and did not manage to fulfill the complex ritual. On this day, Runeterra experienced one of the most devastating magic catastrophes of all time. All the destructive energy gathered to destroy the guild’s enemies was unleashed upon the battlefield uncontrolled and ravaged every living being except the one who knew in time that Artulo failed his brethren: Artulo himself, who was able to shield himself and survive the terrible onslaught. Ever since this day, Artulo studies the secrets the magic of the circles still holds; so when the day comes and he will be needed again, he will fulfill his destiny and atone for one time when all his might was not enough.
Skills:
Ancient Mage (Passive): Artulos magic powers and experience surpass those of nearly any other mage. Spell cast under his intimidating influence suffer longer than usual cooldown times. Aura: Enemy spells cast in an area around Artulo have 5/10/15% longer cooldown timer.
Magic Circle(Q): 50/75/100/125/150 Mana Artulo uses his ancient power to enchant the ground with a magic pentagram which disappears after 300 second or after it is triggered by an ally/enemy. Artulo can choose the kind of circle he places by repeatedly pressing Q. This spell has a channeling time of 1 second. Only 2 circles can be placed in an area of 550 units. (Both parts of a “Circle of teleport” count as one circle for this effect.) He uses up one stack of “Magic Circle” (he can store a maximum of 3 stacks and generates a new one after 26/24/22/20/18 seconds). Depending on the type of pentagram triggering it will activate a wide range of effects. Circle of Pain(visible for allies): Damages the first enemy unit for 100/130/165/205/250 + 0,7AP magic damage. Circle of Weakness(visible for allies): Reduces the armor and magic resistance of the first enemy unit by 10/15/20/25/30 und slows the unit by 10/20/30/40/50 % for 2 seconds. Circle of Detection(visible for allies): Spots the first enemy unit and reveals it for 1/2/3/4/5 seconds and keeps the unit from sharing vision with the team. Circle of Teleportation(visible for enemies and allies): Artulo creates two linked circles. The first unit (ally/enemy) touching one of the circles will instantly teleported to the other. Circle of Healing(visible for enemies and allies): The first allied unit will be healed by 80/115/150/185/210 + 0,5AP. Circle of Strength(visible for enemies and allies): The first allied unit will gain 25/35/45/55/70+10% of artulos armor as armor and 25/35/45/55/70+10% of artulos magic resistance as magic resistance over 5 seconds. Circle of Speed(visible for enemies and allies): The movement speed of the first allied unit is enhanced by 25/30/35/40/45% over 3 seconds.
Banishment(W): Artulo seals the magic of his opponent and deals magic damage. If the banished enemy tries to cast a spell while he is still under the influence of “Banishment” he suffers aditional magic damage and the spell he tried to use has a cooldown of 3 seconds. Initial damage: 40/60/80/100/120 + 0.4AP Damage if triggered: 50/75/100/125/150 + 0.4AP Duration of Banishment: 1/2/2/3/3
Magic Balance(E): Passive: Artulos mana cost on magic circle sink depending on the number of circles active at the time. 0 circles: 0% mana costs 1-4: 33% mana costs 5-10: 66% mana costs above 10: 100% mana costs Active: Deals 60/95/130/175/210 + 0,4*AP magic damage and regains mana and health equal to 10% of the damage.
Circle of Apocalypse(R): Artulo sacrifices his own health to create the final magic circle. Enemies inside are dealt magic damage equal to 40/70/100 + 20% of Artulos health costs each second. They also are affected by effects depending on the amount of health they have remaining upon leaving the circle. Health costs: 7.5/11.25/15% of Artulos maximum health per second(this effect can kill Artulo) Enemies with 100-60% health will be stunned for 1 second, 60-30% health will be slowed by 30% for 1.5 second and enemies with less than 30% will not be affected when leaving the circle.

Quotes:
Upon selection: “They will pass in my circle…”
Movement: “Onwards.” “I go with ages of wisdom.” Joke: “No, i don’t need this staff to support myself..” falls down and has to catch himself with the staff 2. summons two circles which fight like bayblades Taunt: “I fought for ages and have seen many enemies, though none as bad as you!” Dance: summons a dance pad of circles below him and starts dancing
Tips: vs Artulo: Every circle that might influence you is invisible. Watch your steps. Artulo himself is quite weak. Seek direkt battles. If enemies try to lure you somewhere an ambush with Artulos circles might await you. with Artulo: Try to place as many circles as possible. Combine them for best effects. If possible use your ultimate in a teamfight for highest impact. Avoid direct battles, instead stay behind and help your team with circles.
