Helios - The War Hound is a flexible dog-humanoid warrior. Heavily clad in armor and wielding a great sword, he can either be a top lane fighter or a bottom lane tank. His passive is two sided- Guard Dog or Attack dog based on his Q, Battle Position! Guard Dog is his tanking passive which provides him with a slight percentage boost to his armor and magic resist, when he gets within range of his allies this boost increases greatly by a set number per level and per champion. When his on the offensive his passive becomes Attack Dog, Which provides him with a slight percentage boost but this time to his attack damage and attack speed, this boost again grows moderately, however, around enemies instead of allies again set number per level and enemy champion. His Q is his main focus- Battle Position! has a dual effect. When activated, it causes him to switch up battle stances between an offensive type, to a defensive type, and vice versa. When in his offensive mode, he gains a slight boost to his attack damage based on his health, and when in his defensive stance he gains his main boost to armor and magic resist that are within normal parameters of a tank, with a slight increase based on his health. His W is called Fearless Charge- This is a skill shot nuke that sends the War Hound into a selected direction dealing a base damage (+% of attack damage) and/or (+% armor) [It's flexible it can be one, the other or both] His E is another dual ability called Deafening Howl/Furious Growl- Deafening howl is an aoe that silences all enemies within a surrounding range, those unlucky enough to be closest to the War Hound are Stunned for a few seconds. When in his offensive stance, is a temporary buff that give him and his allies a boost to their attack damage and attack speed for a few seconds. Helios' ultimate, R, is called Courage on the Battlefield- It has a passive and active effect. Passively, the War Hound emits an aura of courage, which he and his allies gain percentage bonuses to armor and magic resist/attack damage and attack speed based on his Q. Upon activation, he emits a loud, terrifying series of barks that can be heard globally, but only effects his immediate area, and slows the enemy champions by a set percentage 20/40/60%

Lore: While some areas of Runeterra treated its canine population as little more than show dogs, the Rakkor, who have excelled at war with Champions such as Leona Leona and Pantheon Pantheon, had recently made a remarkable discovery. They discovered the many canines were fierce, strong, and loyal on the battlefield. Eager to please their human owners, the first of the mighty War Hounds were created, their courage knew no limits, a few even choosing to sacrifice their very lives to defend their owners, and land. But the Rakkor needed more, as they were only strong enough for a good hunt and to catch common thieves. As a result they began an intense breeding program, taking in dogs from all over Runeterra, from as far North as the Frelijord, to as far south as the shifting sands of Shurima. Even the Plague Jungles' wild dogs had contributed to their practice. Upon hearing of this idea many nations took to a similar practice: Ionia, Demacia, and Piltover just to name a few. Ultimately, the Rakkor succeeded in creating the perfect War Hound, Canis. Canis was the most highly intelligent War Hound, capable of complex strategy so much so that supposedly rivaled his human generals. This was matched only by his massive strength, fortitude, and ferocity on the battlefield. He had been on the battlefield in numerous conflicts to which his enemies feared his presence and his allies rejoiced. Canis' most famous battle was against the Noxian Vanguard, led by Swain Swain with Darius Darius at the head of the charge. Leona Leona watched as ordered by the Solari, as the battle ensued and it looked clear Noxia would win she witnessed Canis had been chained to the general's tent, rumor was that Canis opposed his battle plan openly, which many Rakkor's were being slain by. Leona released the chained animal which charged headlong into the battle. The Rakkor became emboldened by their fearsome hound as he tore through the front lines, sustaining many injuries defending his allies and unleashing devastating attacks. Upon seeing him, Darius and Swain tried to bring down the animal, but a deafening howl silenced Swain and brought Darius to the ground with a followed growl of intense anger seemed to make the hound even stronger. As Swain ordered a retreat, a threatening bark that echoed into the surroundings scared many of his troops, which led to their slaughter. Canis had been severely wounded, the battle took its heavy toll, Leona patted the bleeding beast as his troops surrounded him, fearful for his life. Placing a item 3190 locket around the animal's neck, it had been decided; the Solari will have him. A ray of Sunlight encompassed the beast, healing him and giving him a new form with his own armor and great sword. His tail wagged through his armor as the man-beast took to one knee and spoke for the first time, "My life, for the Solari." Leona, placing her sword on his shoulder replied, "Arise and stand anew, Helios." They say that when Leona is called to the Field of Justice he stands guard outside her door, awaiting her return, or maybe to be summoned onto the battlefield once more...

The deadliest beast that Noxia has witnessed not only still lives, but is also now clad in armor, given a weapon, and awaits his time to be summoned? I fear for those who are foolish to stand against him. - Swain Wait, the War Hound? The one who did not fear my axe and nearly deafened me? I recall him, he is a true warrior, and demands respect. Those that don't are truly doomed. - Darius
