When do the older flyers get some tweaking so that their flight is more than just an animation

As someone who enjoys playing it's always struck me as odd that characters like annivia who are obviously flyers, didn't have any in game effects of their flight. Especially now that there are new champions that fly it'd be nice to see the older champions get a revisit as far as their ability to fly vs float vs jump.
