[Champion Concept] Balther, The Master of Chaos

Hi guys, before to read this is a Champion Concept made by StarkyllerLAS from NA, he told me to post it because he's low level in this server, I hope you like it and give the credits to him because I didn't made it

Hello people! At first, I like to make champion concepts. At the moment I have a total of 10 champion concept, but I don't have many of them anymore. Anyway, let's begin! I hope you like it!

Stats: Health: 413 (+79 per level) Health Regen: 6.57 (0.64 per level) Resource: Negative Energy (Special) Attack Damage: 50 (+3.32 per level) Armor: 18 (+3.4 per level) Magic Resist: 30 (+0 per level) Movement Speed: 335 Main Lane: Mid

History: Among the distant lands of Ionia, there was a valley that heads into a abandoned and destroyed castle that, many years ago was habited by a order not well known with the name of Black Chaos. But, however, years ago the castle was completely destroyed for something that was not known. However, there was a man in the outside of Ionia, that was solitary and silent. He wear a black armor, that seemed of perfect steel.

Nobody knew the true identity of the man, but a day, while the man was walking like nothing towards a path leading to a temple in a mount of Ionia, he ran into a man that was meditating on the floor in front of a small lake. The man did not care and continued his path, but before, the other man talked to him, saying a few words:

“I see that you may be part of the mysterious order of the “Black Chaos”, ¿right? I didn’t expect to see an unique survivor of that order, after the terrible thing that has occurred twenty years ago.”

Balther stopped his path and then, it was a moment of silence. The man, that was known as Master Yi, didn’t convinced and at least waited a answer of the survivor.

“I’m not surprised, Yi, I didn’t expect to see you here. However, that is now another story. How long time has passed, eh?”

“Then, ¿what did happened with the leader of the Black Chaos, Balther?”

“An history hard to explain. But, it doesn’t care anymore. Also, I am only interested on searching vengeance. I can’t forgive him now, before doing all that. Totally unforgivable.”

“Talking of feelings of hatred… I just hope that you still remember your battle forms. But, however, I hope during your search nothing bad happens to you, Balther. You should now know how is your leader, who now is your objective.”

“It will be something hard complete my objective, after all. And well then, see ya Yi. Luck with the thing of yours.”

“See ya, Balther.”

And then, Balther continued his journey. Now when much hours has passed, Balther finally arrived to the valley that leads to the castle of the Black Chaos order. Then, when ya Balther arrived, he stopped in front of the destroyed castle’s entry. But from what seemed an instant, something impulsed him to enter immediately, and for his surprise, when he ya entered, he felt negative energy running on his body.

Before Balther can even react, from the bottom of the castle surged an flash of light and then, suddenly appeared an portal that was shining of a very dark red colour. And then black hands emerged from it that rapidly caught Balther and dragged him into the portal. After, when it looked like much hours have already passed, Balther finally recovered his conscience. However, he encountered himself on a site that he didn’t known. But then, when he raised up, he heard some words:

“After all, I didn’t imagine that you would survive to the destructive power of the Chaos. I would like to known how you did. However, if you are going to ask for help, I fear that no one will come help you. Your teammates are already dead, Balther. Including the one who you always considered as your eldest brother. If you are going to ask me for him, I’m sorry, but I did make him writhe in pain. Ah, and about the girl you loved… You will not totally like what did I have done to her. Hahaha.”

Balther was thinking. “No… Demitra… did he just have killed you? No… that’s impossible… Demitra… ¡LET ME KNOW THAT YOU ARE NOT DEAD! DEMITRA!.”

“Are you…?”

“Ah, yeah, ¿why not? ¿Do you want something with me, trash?

“You… you… ¡¡¡I WILL KILL YOU!!!. Don’t be a coward and fight me, you bast…!.”

“Uhhh, the trash has got angry. Ok, I accept, trash.”

Then, after a while, Balther had prepared to fight against the who was the reason of his wish of vengeance, fighted into death against him. He knew that between his power he had something dangerous, but Balther didn’t care. After some minutes, even though it was like a epic moment, Balther only fell down defeated and bleeding into the floor, while he writhed in pain in front of his great enemy.

“I said that you will never had the potential to defeat me, even if you had transformed in a trash that don’t deserve to be called a trash.”

“…Bast…! …¡I haven’t given up yet! ¡Let’s fight once more!

Then, he accepted once more, but this time he caused more pain to Balther. Defeated again, Balther couldn’t get up anymore. But, between what looked an instance and a painful scene, suddenly something emerged from the portal that had took Balther. An immensely negative energy had roam fully the complete body of Balther and took over the control of his body. Then, before time, Balther could react and for his surprise, he could feel a ferocious killing adrenaline roaming through his veins and his body, together with a negative energy. Then, he feel how he was getting new powers, and then, Balther released the energy against his enemy. An intense but small pillar of negative energy emerged under his enemy, surrounding him and destroying his armor.

“It can’t be… ¡It can’t be possible! ¡I can only control the chaos! ¿¡Why the Chaos took over your body!? ¡Fuckin* trash!

Then, he disappeared without leaving trail, completely consumed by the Chaos. Balther then believed that now the Chaos belong only to him and no one more than him. But, Balther already changed. Now he wasn’t the same. Balther now was a different person. Now he will use the power of the Chaos to destroy everything that he wants. He wouldn’t stop. Never.

“The Chaos is a power totally impossible not to wish. Is more, is something more powerful than anything else, even better than the darkness.” Balther.-

Abilities: Passive Chaos Rift Whenever Balther gets damaged by an enemy ability, Balther will gain during 3.5/4/4.5/5 seconds an effect that causes the next ability of Balther to deal 2.5/3/3.5/4% of the enemy’s max life as additional magic damage. However, this effect can’t be applied again during 13/12/11/10 seconds.

Chaotic Explosion (Q) 9/8/7/6/5 cooldown time No cost Range: 950 Ability Type: Nuke

Balther releases an explosion of negative energy at the target location of a radius of 250.

Balther unleases a harmful mass of negative energy at the target location, dealing 50/105/160/215/270 (+55% Ability Power) and slowing in 20/24/28/32/36% to all affected enemies.

Chaos Rod (W) 24/22/20/18/16 cooldown time No cost

Passive: Balther’s basic attacks inflict 15/20/25/30/35 (+8/9/10/11/12% Ability Power) additional magic damage. This damage increase increases in 12/14/16/18/20% against an enemy under 50% of his health.

Active: During 4 seconds, the abilities of Balther inflict 3/6/9/12/15% more damage to enemies under 50% of their health.

Negative Fury (E) 4/4/4/4/4 cooldown time No cost Range: 750 Ability Type: Projectile/Single Target

Balther releases a small projectile of harmful negative energy from his rod direct towards his target.

Balther unleashes a small torrent of negative energy that inflicts 60/95/130/165/200 (+45% Ability Power) and reduces the magic resistance in 4/8/12/16/20 during 3 seconds. Also, if the ability goes into a enemy under 50% of his health, the ability will drain a part of the target’s strength and gives it to Balther, with which Balther gains a shield that protects himself of 40/65/90/115/140 (+30% Ability Power) physical damage. The shield lasts 3 seconds.

Chaos Released (R) 0/0/0 cooldown time Cost: 100 Negative Energy Range: 1050 Passive: Whenever Balther uses an ability or get damaged by enemy attacks, Balther receives 1 stack of Negative Energy, which at 100 stacks Balther will be able to use his definitive ability.

Active: Balther releases a great mass of negative energy at the target site of a radius of 475. Balther unleashes at the target site a great mass of negative energy that, after 1 second emerges in a violent explosion of negative energy, dealing 150/250/350 (+60% Ability Power) of magic damage and slowing in 20/30/40% all affected enemies. Also, after 1.5 seconds of the explosion, the negative energy explodes again, but this time the area of effects increases to 525. All the enemies affected by the second explosion receive 300/450/600 (+120% Ability Power) magic damage.

Explications: The champion is based and is highly concentrated in a mage that specializes in doing a good amount of damage in small time, also in having more power on his abilities against the enemies under 50% of their health, causing Balther to get kills more easily. His abilities, particularly his Q, is concentrated to do at least a good amount of AoE damage and also slowing enemies, making Balther to inflict more damage thanks to his E with a low cooldown time and his magic resistance reduction. His W, for default, when it is active it grants an great and excellent bonus to Balther, allowing to make more effectively a safe kill, because of the extra damage that brings against the enemies below 50% of their health. His definitive ability, generally is more set to be used in the teamfights or when Balther is against two melee enemies. If it’s used by an excellent way in the teamfights, Balther will can give an very great and excellent advantage to his team, because of the great damage and slowing in a good AoE.

Combos: Q+E = In the early game. Serves for trying to lower the opponent health to under 50%.

W+E+Q or W+Q+E = In early game. Only if your opponent is under 50% health, to try secure an safe kill. The first is in case in that you are very close to your opponent or if you believe that you are close enough for doing an high damage to your opponent. The second is if you are far.

Q+E+W+R = In mid-late game. If you are far, it’s time to use the Q’s slow for doing the high damage.

W+E+Q+R = You are close, if your opponent has at least 70% health = kill secured.

Strategies:

Playing as Balther: -Make sure to have enough mana for doing a combo and try to get a safe kill -Always the best option is to slow down your target and unleash your full combo if you are not close enough or if you are a little far away from him.

Playing against Balther: -If you are melee, ¡make sure to try and evade his Q, or therefore if you are low on health he may unleash his full combo on you and you will die! -Taking items with MR and others like Zhonya’s Hourglass are a good option to avoid some of the high Balther’s combo damage.

Conclusion: What does detach the champion as “unique” is his advantage that has against enemies under 50% health, and his high damage that can be useful for the teamfights. Also, he is skill dependant, if he badly places his ult it may be useless.
