Will Riot ever release a tool in the client that will tell you what your ping or fps

This question popped in my head when I went through a break up, and moved with my brother. Idk how his internet connection is, and I don't want to waste my time or other players' times by playing just to possibly go AFK due to horrible connection. I don't think practice tool is accurate since other players are involved. I just think it would help to see how you're game connection would be in a new place. Thanks!

Are you ok after the breakup?

There isn't any way of checking Ping/FPS. What I do in the event I need to check my Ping or Frames is open up a Custom Bot Game & check it there.

While I think giving up the ability to see how our connection looks is good as it allows players to be more considerate when deciding on jumping into Ranked with 1000 ping, it probably won't be built into the client until they get around adding other features.

if you search google for "lol ping" you'll get websites that work, I've used them before. Maybe helpful ? Idk. I guess try it out. Also hope you're ok after the break up.

You can open command prompt and type "ping 104.160.131.1 -t" and the League server will be pinged with data until you either close the prompt or press Ctrl+C. I think this information should be displayed in the client somewhere, even if it's only shown when selecting a game mode or in the party formation screen.
