Draft Racing Rules
Rules:
Played in Draft Mode on Summoner's Rift
Essential team composition consists of two Runners, two Defenders, and one Roamer. Attacking and defending happens simultaneously for both teams, rather than in phases.
Runners travel through the jungle and try to die in the enemy base fountain.
Anyone can score. Being hit by the fountain laser and dying counts as a point.
Champions such as
and
cannot score after death using their revival passive.
Defenders ward their jungle and keep the enemy runners from getting to their fountain.
A Roamer's job is to kill enemies in the jungle and prevent runners from entering his/her base.
10 Points to win. Losers surrender or are blacklisted
NO LANING, OR LEECHING EXP FROM MINIONS!
Exception: If minions are at your inhibitor turret, you can kill them, but you must NOT leave the stairs.
No killing jungle monsters except for scuttle crab.
No running to lane or outer turrets to escape from enemies.
You may cross through only mid lane, as long as enemy minions are not nearby, and no enemy is chasing you.
Good Runners usually have a way to jump over walls or onto wards. Common attributes are high mobility, tankiness, and/or ways to avoid damage. Building damage items on runners is highly unadvised and frowned upon. Ohmwrecker
and Deadman's Plate
can be considered core items on most runners. Banshee's Veil
and Righteous Glory
are situational but can also be very effective for running. Youmuu's Ghostblade
is a noob trap and should not be built on runners, as there are better options for movement speed that are mentioned above.
Good Defenders have hard CC and high kill potential. It is highly recommended that each defender rush a Sighstone
and keep both sides of their jungle consistently warded.
Good Roamers are usually jungle champs with high early game damage, sustain, dueling power, and/or mobility.
