Hello Boards, here are some champion concepts that I've been working on for a while now. These are also my first champion concepts so I'd love some feedback. Also, I tried to make the lore of the characters line up to the current lore as best as I could, but there might be some mistakes. Now on the idea's that spawned theses three.

First Idea:

Lore: A champion who was born in Noxus, but who's family left for Demicia because they feared the current state of the country. On the way to there destination, the child who would become the champion, would become orphaned. Then, later in life leave the orphanage he lived at and would meet a spirt trapped in a blade. (Not a Darken)

Gameplay: The champion would have a unique resource bar that would scale with heath and ad. Also make sure that the play could have build flexibility depending on how comfortable they were on the champion

Second Idea:

Lore: A child who was the sole heir to a style of swordsmanship after his father died

Gameplay: A new take on the samurai archetype. This character would be more inspired by the quickdraw techniques.

Third Idea:

Lore: A champion who originated from Zaun and had a close connection to Ekko, but when to Piltover to try and change Zaun image from there.

Gameplay: A take on the wild west archetype of a sharp-shooter. While also having a reload mechanic.

Hope you enjoy what I cooked up!

Deq; The Spirit Warrior

Passive: Deq runs off Dark Power thanks to the spirit Ako, in the gauntlets he wears. Dark Power scales with bonus AD and Health. It’s regen is equal to Deq’s current Hp regen.

**Q: Dark Missiles ** First Cast: Deq launches three dark tendrils that converge on a single location. If it hits a champion, medium, or epic monster, Deq attaches to them. Slowing them down and dealing (X amount)+(X% scaling with ad). **Second Cast: ** For the next 1.5 seconds Dark Missiles can be reactivated to pull Deq to the target he was attached to (ie Akali E) and deal an empowered strike dealing (X bonus scaling with ad) damage.

W: Piercing Darkness Deq lunches a spike from from his gauntlets dealing (X amount)+(X% scaling with ad), if the target is with in auto attack range of Deq, it will deal double the damage.

**E: Dark Combustion: ** **Passive:**large, epic monsters, and champions gain combustion stacks when damaged be Deq’s autos and abilities, the stacks will fall of after 3 seconds of being out of combat with Deq, proccing Complete Combustion. Stacks are 25% of the damage he has dealt in the time of combat.

Incomplete Combustion Active: Deq ignites the stack on the enemy champion dealing 20% of the stacks total as magic damage.

Complete Combustion Passive: The stacks ignite dealing 25% of the stack damage over 4 seconds.

**R: **

With DP(meaning can cast spells) - Dark Destruction: First cast: Deq channels for as long as the player wants to draining Dark Power and gaining range, damage, and AOE starting from: (X amount (dmg)) + (X% TAD) and (X range) and (X AOE) Second cast: Deq becomes untargetable and dashes in a straight line ignoring terrain collision when the ability is recast to strike early with the same damage and AOE. The ability can be double tapped to go over walls. The cooldown scales with the time the channel time.

Without DP(meaning cannot cast spells) - Ako’s Heart: Ako gives Deq full access to her magic powers increasing his magic resistance, armour, Hp regen, and gains a larger attack range. Can only be activated when Deq cannot cast any abilities. Lasts 10 seconds and in that time Deq cannot cast any spells.

Quick Breakdown: With a resource scaling with both ad and hp, this means Deq could be a forgiving tank, or an extremely bursty assassin. As a tank warmogs would be a key item thanks to Deq's passive for resource generation As an assassin you might be able to burst someone, or even a whole team, heavily, but if you miss your screwed as Ako's Heart would give one enough stats to survive for long. Resource management is very important on Deq and that is what separates the good from the bad on this champ.

Lore:

“Huh, what's that sound. It sounds like a baby crying.” Stated a traveler. Sure enough on the side of the road there was a woman on the ground with a baby on top of her. When the merchant got closer he saw that the woman was dead. He walked up to the dead body and picked up the baby. It had a necklace on it that read the name “Deq”. The merchant assumed that it was the name of the baby. The next town should have an orphanage in it. I’ll leave you there boy. The rest will be up to you.

Sixteen Years later

“Deq get down here it's time for breakfast!” yelled up a voice. “Coming” yelled back Deq as he finished getting dressed for the day. He ran down the stairs because he knew that if he didn’t make it in time his family would have eaten everything before he got there. Well they weren’t his true family. Deq lived in an orphanage in a Democian town far from the capital. When Deq got to the bottom of the stairs and got into the kitchen, he expected to see the other children from the orphanage eating along with workers. Instead he saw them behind a cake waiting for him. When the other children and workers saw they shouted “Happy Birthday!”
Deq started to cry a bit, not because of the cake or the sentiment, but because what would come after. He turned sixteen today. After all, on one’s sixteenth birthday one was considered an adult. This meant he would have to leave the only home and family he had ever known. Deq pushed back the tears and walked forward to enjoy the last meal with his family. The party lasted several hours. When Deq left it was bit after mid-day. Since Deq had been working odd jobs, he had enough money to stay in the town inn for a night. When he went for dinner he saw a grizzled man that looked oddly familiar. Deq walked up to the man and asked him, “Hey excuse me sir, but you look oddly familiar. Have we met before?” The man looked at the boy before sitting down at a table and replied, “I don’t think so boy, I haven’t come to this town in sixteen years.” Deq’s eyes lit up a little. Before the man could order Deq sat down at the table and said, “I was brought to the orphanage sixteen years ago when I was a baby. Do you think you can remember if you saw someone bringing a baby there?” The man asked, “Say boy before I answer your question tell me your name.” Deq answered with his name. The man laughed. Deq looked a bit puzzled. The man ordered some food for him and Deq. Then the man replied, “Young man I was the one who brought you to the orphanage sixteen years ago. Now before you say anything I’m not your father. I was traveling from Noxus to Demacia when I saw your mom dead on the side of the road, with you in her arms.” Deq seemed puzzled. He wanted to why his mom was traveling on that road. He had heard Noxus was a bad place, but was it so bad that his mother would risk his life to bring him here. The man saw the look on Deq’s face and answered, “Your mother was a smart one boy. She left about a decade earlier than the invasion of Ionia, and a lot of young men and women were enlisted to fight. Other then that a group called the ‘Black Rose’ where causing some trouble. Your mother ended up making the right choice by leaving.” With this new information Deq looked down and sighed, “What am I going to do now? Head to my birthplace? Head to the capital? Stay here? They don’t seem very appealing.” The man heard this and suggested, “Go to Pilover. It’s a city to the west. It’s a massive city of technology like you’ve never seen before. From there you can take a ship and go anywhere. Bilgewater, Ionia, Freljord, Shurima, heck you could even go to the slums of Zaun. Or if you want even to Noxus or back here.” Deq looked slightly relieved, but hesitantly responded, “I sounds like a good idea, but how do I get there? I don’t have a map.” The man’s eyes twinkled a bit. He smiled and reached into his backpack. He took out what seemed to be a piece of paper. When the man put the piece of paper on the table and spread it out, Deq realized it was a map. The man said, “Ok. So to get to Piltover you wanna take the mountain pass. If you go through the planes you might run into someone called ‘Kled’. He’ll kill you if you step on his land. Taking the mountains will give you the best chance.” Deq reipled, “Thank you. I don’t know how to repay you.” “Don’t.” said the man, “It’s fine. Also you should probably take this. I have a spare. Good night, and good luck.” With that the man stood up to head to his room in the inn. Before he got too far Deq called out, “Wait a second, could I at least know your name?” “Marcus Du Couteau” responded the man as he continued walking up to his room.

Five Days Later

“Damn” thought Deq, “It's been five days already and I’m only halfway there.” Deq sat down and looked into his pack. He only had enough rations left for about three more days. Sigh “I don’t know if I can make it.” muttered Deq. “If maybe I eat less I might be able to” Deq’s thoughts were interrupted by what sounded like a girl crying. He moved over to the place where it seemed to come from. The crying seemed to come from a nearby cave. Deq walked into the cave and readied himself. As he walked in the cave he noticed that the walls were covered in etchings. They seemed to tell the story of the creation of a weapon. The etching showed a village being destroyed and what seemed to be the souls of the villagers being trapped into metal. With one soul seeming to live in the metal. As Deq moved through the cave the crying got louder. When Deq got to the end of the cave he found himself at the opening of a large cavern. In the middle there lay a buster sword on a pedestal. The crying seemed to come from the blade. Deq then realized that the etching were referring to the blade in front of him. He walked closer to the blade and said, “Um, hello. I couldn’t help but hear you crying. Is anything wrong?” The crying stopped and the blade said, “Stop don’t get closer. I’ve taken the lives of so many. I don’t want to take another.” After the blade said this a ghostly form of a female appeared. Deq stared at the figure before him. Then, he walked up to her and put out his hand. “My name is Deq, nice to meet you.” The figure surprised by this action responded, “Um, Ako. My name is Ako.” She took Deq’s hand. “So Ako,” Deq said, “what do you want?” Ako looked surprised. Deq continued, “I saw the etching on the walls. I have an idea of what happened to you. Also, considering how old this cave is, I’m guessing you’ve been here for a while. With no one around. Must have been awful. ” “Um,” started Ako, “Would you, would you stay for awhile? Please? It been torture to be alone for this time, but I can’t leave. If someone touches me their life gets taken from them. That's why I’m here.” Something inside Deq changed at that moment. “Getting your soul trapped in a weapon and having to sit somewhere forever.” thought Deq, “That's not how someone should live.” He readied himself. Deq walked up to the blade. Ako reached out to him crying out, “NO! DON’T YOU’LL DIE.” Deq turn around and said, “If that's the case then so be it, but Ako no one should have to go through what you have. I promise you that I’ll take you and show you the world outside of this cave.” Deq touched up the blade. “NO!” Ako cried out. A black light shone from it, in a way it was blinding. It seemed like an eternity till the light subsided. When it did Deq was standing over the blade with his hands on the hilt. Ako was amazed. This was the first time since her imprisonment that anyone had touched the blade without dying. Deq picked up the blade and sheathed it on his back. He turned to face Ako and said, “Well then, it seems like from here on out we are partners.” Ako with tears in her eyes she replied, “Yes, it would seem so.” Ako returned to the blade and they set out of the cave. After the exited the cave Ako asked, “So, where are we going?” Deq said, “To Piltover. From there we can go anywhere.”

Sliver; The Quick Draw

Passive: After being out of combat Silver sheathes is blade, empowering his next auto dealing (scaling amount) [1/6/11/16] +(X% of AD)

Q: Wind Wave: Silver swings his katana in a producing a wave the deals more damage the closer you are to him, but increases in AOE the farther that it travels. Deals (X amount)+(X%AD). Also procs on-hit effects

W: Flash Draw: Silver channels for 2 seconds and becomes unable to auto attack, but is also immune to all damage. The first ability that hits Silver causes him to become untargetable and he dashes to the enieme and strikes them for the damage that he would have taken. After, he appears behind the target. After he sheaths his blade.

E: Quick Strike: Silver empowers his next auto attack dealing (X% amount of AD). [auto reset]

R: Flash Step: Passive: While in combat Silver gains bounous movespeed. Movespeed scales with level rank (X%/X%/X%).

Active: Silver dashes a set distance and sheaths his sword. Cannot go over terrain cooldown is lowered if a target is hit.

Quick Breadown:

Overall, Silver plays similarly to Fiora and Yasou, but less aggravating. This is because if he gets caught out he is easily punished if he whifs a w. Since Silver's dmg is mainly burst and he needs to be up close, and is pre-six or doesn't have ult, is easily kitted without w. Being able to read your opponent and be able to get them to use a massive dmg ability is key as most of his dmg is in his w.

Lore:

“Hey dad!” called out a boy as he ran into his house to his father, “Dad! I did! I can use Flash Step!” “Really, Silver?” said the boy's father, “That’s great! Seems like genius runs in the family.” The father patted his son on his back. How about we make your favorite meal to celebrate!” “Really?” replied Silver. “Would I lie to you?” asked the father. “I guess not.” Silver responded. Before Silver or his father could say another word, someone knocked on the door. Silver’s father answered the door. Silver and his father were surprised to see the village chief, Perio, at the door. Perio gasped and quickly said, “Jean sorry to disturb you, but we need you.” Jean, Silver’s father, asked, “Perio what’s wrong?” “Noxus” replied Perio, “There invading. Since your the strongest in the village I came to you first. They’ll be here in a couple of hours.” Jean looked distraught. “Gather everyone else who can fight and meet me in the village square. Also prep a transport to the Kinko temple for the those who can’t. Got it?” “Yes got.” responded Perio, “See you soon.” Perio then hurried off to get everything set up. After he left the door Jean ran to his bedroom. Silver followed. When Silver caught up with his father he saw him digging a hole under a rug. In a second he hit a chest. Jean pulled it out of the hole dusted it off and looked inside, feeling relieved that it's contents were still in good condition. Jean walked over to his son and put the box into his hands. “Dad” asked Silver, “Want is this.” “It’s the techniques that I haven’t been able to teach you yet. While your away start learning them. I come get you at the temple when the war is done. Now I have to go and help to get ready to defend the village.” “But dad, what if you don’t survive?” asked Silver starting to tear up. Jean looked at his son then went to his closet and took out a white overcoat and handed it to his son. “I got this from your mother when we got married. I wanted to give it to you when you mastered the Quick Draw arts, but I think I should give it to you now. Take it, me and your mother will always be with you.” said Jean. He knelt down and gave his son a hug and said, “Go and get on the transport to the temple.” Silver nodded and ran out the door to the transports.

Six years later

Silver was kneeling under a large tree with two candles lit. One for his mother and one for his father. “Hey mom, hey dad. How are you? I’m doing well. Well I finally master the Quick Draw arts and Master Shen said it was time for me to seek out my own path. So, I’m leaving Ionia in a couple days to go to Piltover. I don’t know why I want to go there, but I heard it was a city of many wonders, so I guess that's why. Well I love you both. Bye.” Silver stood up and walked away from the tree with a tear in his eye. Although his current path leads away from his home he knew that one day he would be back, and maybe with new friends.

Sharpe: The ExPiltover Marksmen

Passive: Sharpe attacks with his dual revolvers. Each pistol has three shots. Sharpe’s attack speed is fixed at ‘2.00’, but every shot deals 50%. All on-hit effects are applied 100%. If Sharpe crits the autos will deal 100% of ad per shot inside of 50%. Building attack speed decreases the amount of time it takes to reload. (Grave’s and Jhin’s passive combined, but with more bullets)

Q: Explosive shot: Sharpe’s next auto attack fires an explosive round dealing (X/X/X/X/X) + (X% Total AD) in a small AOE.

W: Long Shot: Sharpe’s next shot deals bonus damage (X%/X%/X%/X%/X% of Total AD). If the target is below 50% hp the shot will deal extra damage based off of the target missing hp. The shot can crit.

E: Dodge and Roll: Sharpe dashes in a straight line. The distance the dash can go scales with attack speed. Can go over walls.

R: Sharp Shooter: Sharpe enters a state of complete concentration. In this mode Sharpe does not need to reload and his attack speed becomes 2.50. His auto attacks also reduce the cooldown of his abilities by (X/X/X) seconds.

Quick Breakdown:

Most of sharpe's power is in his passive. Since each shot only deals 50% of his ad, but applies all on-hit effects this causes on-hit items, like borik to be very useful on him. Other then that crit is also very appealing on him. Lastly with three rounds of shot, one has to be careful because, unlike Jhin, who has a power spike on his fourth shot, Sharpe does not.

Lore: Born in Zaun Sharpe’s life was never the best, but it didn’t bother him. One day he was walking down one of the many alleyways when he saw a boy fighting a chemtech soldier. Without hesitating Sharpe rushed to help the boy. Sharpe drew his hextech pistols and began firing at the soldier. Together Sharpe and the boy were able to take down the chemtech soldier easily. After the fight the boy asked Sharpe what his name was. “Um, my name is Sharpe. Nice to meet you.” Sharpe told the boy with a smile and an outstretched hand. “My name’s Ekko.” Replied the boy, shaking Sharpe’s hand. “Thanks for the help. Also where did you get those pistols, they look like hextech.” “I found them in a junk pile, and fixed them up.” Sharpe said sheepishly, “Every since then, I’ve never left home without them.” “You fixed them up yourself, that impressive. I thought I was the only genius in Zaun.” Ekko replied, “Hey why not join the Lost Children of Zaun. I mean if you want to.” Sharpe thought about the offer for a second. The Lost Children of Zaun where a group of children who decided to rewrite their fate by learning from Zaun itself, instead of the people who lived there. “You know what, ya sure I’ll join the Lost Children of Zaun.” said Sharpe. “Well then,” replied Ekko, “Welcome to the gang!”

One Year Later

Sharpe adjusted his new uniform. It still felt weird that he was going to become a cop in Piltover alongside Caitlyn and Vi. They had noticed his skill from when they were chasing a fugitive from Piltover in Zaun. He looked back at Zaun, the place that had raised him, and a tear fall. Sharpe knew that he was going to miss this hellhole. As he turned around to go up the elevator that would take him up to Piltover he heard someone call to him. It was Ekko, his closest friend. “Hey Sharpe, good luck up there.” said Ekko, “Also, make sure you work hard. I mean you gotta change the image of Zaun right?” That was Ekko’s dream. To make Zaun a city that was elevated above Piltover. Sharpe shared this sentiment as well. It was the main reason for accepting the offer in the first place. “I intend to.” replied Sharpe, “But, you gotta pull your weight to. I can’t do everything myself, right?” “Ya ya ya.” chuckled Ekko, “I know. Either way good luck.” “You too.” said Sharpe. As he waved back to Ekko as he got onto the elevator. As the elevator was rising Sharpe stared out over the city scape of Zaun. He knew that he would be back one day, and on that day he had a feeling that Ekko would have done something amazing the city they both called home.

**Fate’s Meeting: ** After working as a Piltover officer for about three months now Sharpe was sure that he had had enough. Nobody took him serious and wealthy that he was protecting, didn’t give any credit and thought of him as lower than dirt. Sharpe would have understood if it was just the wealthy, but it was everyone. He hated it, but he had a job to do. When he got back to his flat he walked over to his bed and crashed. When he got up Sharpe had decided that he would continue his job, not for himself, but for Zaun and his best friend, Ekko. When he met up with Caitlyn and Vi at their base of operations, his day began like usual. Vi teased him about the fact he kept his possessions on him in his bag. Caitlyn told her to cut it out and get ready to go out on patrol. It was a slow day in the morning. Not much was happening. After lunch something interesting happened, they got reports that Camille was on the move. Camille only took action if something ‘interesting’ was happening. The reports said that Camille was seen in the tourist district, the place the city of Piliover had made for people passing through the city. Sharpe, Vi, and Caitlyn quickly moved to the tourist district. They found Camille and some soldiers surrounded two boys, Sharpe guessed that they were his age, sixteen. One boy had a large sword on his back and was mainly dress in black. The other had an interesting blade with him, he had never seen it before. Other then that he was wearing a white overcoat. “You two are under arrest” said Camille’s dry voice, “You have the right to remain silent.” “What did we do officer?” asked the boy wearing the white overcoat. The other boy was silent as if thinking about a way to escape the situation. “What you did? You entered the city with swords and without IDs.” repield Camille. “We have never been to Piltover before. So we didn’t know about the rules.” said the boy in the overcoat. “Oh, you think that would sway the punishment.” mocked Camille, “How cute. Arrest them.” Sharpe felt something well up inside him as the soldiers moved in to arrest the boys. Sharpe turned around and saw his teammates start to leave. He took a piece of paper out of his backpack and took off this badge. “Caitlyn,” he called out, “Thanks for the opportunity, but I guess it didn’t work out.” He tossed the paper and badge to Caitlyn and ran out to help the boys. Silver grunted as he jumped the soldiers surrounding the boys shot off a smoke grenade. He took the boys by the hand and said, “Come with me if you want to get out of here!” The two boys obliged. “Hey” said the boy with the large sword, “Thanks for helping out. My names Deq, and this is Ako” Sharpe and the other boy looked a bit confused until they saw a figure emerge from the blade. After they made a turn, the boy in the overcoat spoke, “Well, on that note, my name’s Silver.” Finally, Sharpe said, “Name’s Sharpe. Nice to meet you.” “So,” started Silver, “Where are we going?” Sharpe responded, “To the out skirts of the city, we’ll be there soon.” “Um,” started Deq, “I’ve got eyes on the crazy grapple hook lady.” “Shit” muttered Sharpe, “She wasn’t supposed to get catch up so fast.” “Ako, can you give us cover?” asked Deq. “Consider it done.” replied Ako. Right after Ako said those words a black cloud covered the trio. “There,” said Ako, “We shouldn’t be able to be tracked anymore. I’ve covered us up with a magic smoke camouflaging us.” As if on cue, a shot from a hextech gun hit close to them. “They can still see us, but not accurately,” said Sharpe, “This should be enough to get out of the city.” Silver jumped forward and blocked a shot with his blade from hitting Sharpe. “Thanks for that,” Sharpe told Silver, “If you hadn’t blocked it then I would have been knocked out.” “No problem. You’ve helped us plenty. Gotta return the favour.” replied Silver. After a few more minutes of running and beginingshot at the trio had made it out of the city. “Damn I’m tired.” exclaimed Deq, “Could they have not chased us for so long?” “There just doing their jobs.” replied Silver. “Ya well,” started Sharpe, “If you knew Camille’s character you’d think her job was to be condescending.” Deq and Silver laughed at Sharpe’s comment. When the laughter died down a bit Deq asked, “So, where are you guys headed? I mean Sharpe, you can’t really go back to Piltover now can you and Silver I don’t even know where you come from. I mean, well, I was just planning on traveling the world, see what's out there, ya know?” “That’s around the same plan I have.” added Silver, “My master told me to go out into the world and find me own path.” The two boys stared at each other then smiled. Before either of them said a word Sharpe butted in, “You mind if a Zaunite turned Ex-Piltover cop joins you?” “Only if you don’t mind having an Ionian swords-man with you.” replied Silver. Deq added, “What about someone born in Noxus, but migrated and raised in Democia. Also can’t forget about the seniant sword.” “Well then,” said Sharpe as he put out his fist, “It seems as though we have a group.” Deq and Silver moved to put there fists in with Sharpes. Ako also materialized to join in. “Well then,” thought Sharpe staring at his new group of friends, “Let the journey begin.”
