#Lore "Give or take – I will give in to my anger, but my heart surely is to take" - Sharokh, the Jaws of Sorrow
Sharokh *dwells from the deepest place within the grotto at the Blue Flame Cove where also his race lived hidden for many decades. Even though their appearance may deceive, the ‘Darokí‘ were creatures with above-average intelligence and yet the only thoughts they had were about coitus, although (mostly) only for population reasons. Since several years many people claimed to see a strange creature that resembles the Darokí, but no one ever believed in it and assumed they were lying or plain drunk. However, tourists all over Runeterra believed in the myth and travelled to the Blue Flame Cove in order to take a peek on an unsolved mystery. *
At that time, the Darokí tribe feared that their race would be soon extinct because of their restricted home and haunting grounds and thus prepared several arranged marriage, and Sharokh was one of them. Even though Sharokh had to marry and mate with someone he did not like, he willingly accepted for the future of his race to be bound eternally to her. In the middle of the ceremony, a vast earthquake caused the cove to collapse and humongous rocks fell from the ceiling, causing many casualties and eventually the death of everyone, except Sharokh. Because of the myth of the Darokí, thousands of tourists came to visit the places of Darokí sighting, and used Bilgewater as a haven. Most pirates of Bilgewater were displeased that outlanders came and kept staying, even though Captain* Gangplank** and Bounty Hunter Miss Fortune fought for the tourism and a stable and prosperous nation equal to the others in Valoran. *
Secretly, several pirate ships were heading to the Blue Flame Cove in order to send their cannonballs and destroy it, to eliminate the only reason why the tourists came in first place, not knowing that they almost extinct a rare species. However, as the last Darokí warrior, Sharokh kept staying in the shadows and studied the pirates – his expertise was more than enough to judge that those who murdered his people did not show any regrets. Since then he holds a huge grudge against all pirates, even those who did not participate in the needless bloodshed.
Sharokh has been captured when he was drained out by fighting and murdering countless pirates in the dark of the night. Normally, he would’ve been executed immediately, but Gangplank halted the execution and helped Sharokh to take his anger and rage to the Fields of Justice – He took all of the responsibilities of all pirates on himself, but only time will tell if one man is enough for Sharokh to take over the responsibility of many. On top of that, Sharokh is searching for a strong and prolific woman to revive the Darokí race that seems to be lost – even though the League of Legends is no Matchmaker. "
#Appearance
Sharokh pretty much looks like this down below. He is a combination of a human and a shark, making him a very unique character that fits to League of Legends. #Champion Explanation
- *Sharokh (derives from ‘Shahrokh’ – which means "royal face" in Persian.) is a young, but also wise creature. Even though he only thinks of coitus, he is somewhat loyal and knows that the key to victory is teamwork – but not with pirates. He simply hates them, he lived through a traumatic event and he always remembers that he is the last one of his kind. *
- Sharokh is half human and half shark and thus can breath above and below the water. His weapon is a Kiribachi, which is a giant black pole with six saw-toothed patterned black blades, resembling a shark's saw-like teeth. Its handle is that of a katana's, but has no guard.
- Sharokh feels a empty hole in his heart. His family and his race vanished from moment to another. He wants justice – He wants Punishment – He wants to believe that there is a reason why only he is alive. For that, he fights for a race that is no more. He fights for the rights of other races who are threatened by men. And he wants to find a woman to give birth to a new hope for his ancestors.
- *Gangplank and Miss Fortune are in the League of Legends because they fight for a strong Bilgewater, so that it becomes a city-state like other nations. Simply said, it’s just a bunch of pirates at one place. It’s a ruthless place without real rules, except to follow its own captain to death. However, many pirates like the Angstrom Crew fight for the independence of Bilgewater, to be a haven for criminals, scavengers and pirates. *
- *Sharokh is a strong melee fighter who uses tricky mechanics in order to deal great damage. He’s a good pick against CC and burst Champions, but lacks in speed and constant damage. He is best played mid or top. *

#Abilities
#Innate Passive - 'Water Lover ':
*Whenever Sharokh walks on water either created by him or on the river, or dives in water, he gains +5%/+10%/+15% increased movement speed (Champion Level 1/6/12) which can stack up to three times and lasts 1 second outside of the water. This is disabled while Sharokh is under Crowd Control (Silence, Stun, Snare, Slow). *
In addition, while on or under water, energy regeneration is increased by +50%/+100%/+150% (Champion Level 1/6/12) Example: Basic Energy Regeneration is 10. 150% of 10 is 15, thus 25 per second
#Q (Dash) – ‘Holy Diver‘:
Sharokh immediately dashes head-first up to 550 range forward and deals to all enemies he goes through 44/66/88/110/133 (+60% Bonus AD)(+45% AP) magic damage and applies on-hit effects on the first target hit. If Sharokh lands on ‘Whirlpool’ he dives in it and ‘Holy Diver’s Cooldown is reset.

#W - 'Bloody Frenzy'
Passive: Every third basic attack (Includes Holy Diver) slows the target(s) by 30%/35%/40%/45%/50% for 0.5 seconds.
Active: Upon activation, Sharokh’s abilities have increased animation & execution speed for 3.5 seconds. In addition, Sharokh’s next basic attack (Or Holy Diver) within those 3.5 seconds, will steal 0.150/0.300/0.450/0.600/0.750 of the target’s attack speed for 2 seconds.

#E - 'Whirlpool':
Sharokh stores one charge of Whirlpool every 12.5 seconds, up to 2/3 charges (Rank 1/5). Within 950 range, Sharokh creates a 400 range circle water pool. Enemies walking on it are slowed by 45%/50%/55%/60%/65% and allies walking on it are boosted by 25%/35%/45%/55%. In addition, whenever Sharokh uses ‘Holy Diver’ and lands on ‘Whirlpool’, he immediately dives in it and becomes untargetable until Whirlpool is destroyed or he uses ‘Holy Diver’ again. Only a maximum of 1/2/3 (Rank 1/3/5) Whirlpools can exist at once.
Whirlpool can be destroyed by two basic attacks and while diving Sharokh is unable to perform any other actions except ‘Holy Diver’ and ‘Blood Frenzy’.

#Ultimate - 'Infinite Blade Works ':
*Sharokh unleashes a frenzy with his great blade and slices in a series of strikes on the locked target within basic attack range for 2.5 seconds. While the target is within basic attack range, Sharokh continues to damage the target with each hit by [100%/125%/150% Base AD] plus (+35% Total AD)(+15% AP) physical damage. The attack speed is equal to Sharokh’s current attack speed and can be furthermore increased with ‘Bloody Frenzy’. *
While ‘Infinite Blade Works’ is active, Sharokh can’t do basic attacks, but activating other abilities will break up the ultimate. Sharokh may freely walk while active. ‘Bloody Frenzy’s passive’ works with the Ultimate. Works with Lifesteal.

#Concept Explanation
Sharokh offers a new mechanic that I like to call “Deathtrap”. Placing up to three Whirlpools and dashing from one to another while going through the enemy, is somewhat a tricky and difficult task, but rewards very well. Sharokh becomes untargetable while he is in the Whirlpool, but the Whirlpool itself can be destroyed and he is exposed. He can be outrageous once he meets a attackbased enemy Champion, because he’ll be on a higher advantage once he activates his W.
Innate Passive gives Sharokh the ability to gank other lanes very fast, but can be exposed easily because he can’t take any other routes except the river.
His Q allows him to close gaps or use it as his main ability, to dash all over the enemy target and deal tons of damage if well played.
The W is a fearsome ability that steals the attack speed of an enemy Champion and rewards Sharokh with a higher attack speed. On top of that, his abilities are faster too and he can perform Q much faster to deal the best damage.
E creates a whirlpool that slows enemies and boosts allies. He can dive in the pool to become untargetable until he dashes out or gets forced out of it.
Last, but not least - The Ultimate synergizes well with his W and can deal tons of damage if executed well. Sharokh needs to avoid any kind of stun or slow and still keep the pace in order to fully inflict the whole damage.
Sharokh is strong against Champions who are based on CC or bursts, as he can simply dash and dive to avoid the damage, until he comes out and take his advantage. Sharokh is weak against Tanks, Ranged Fighters and AD Carries, as their fast attackspeed and constant damage threatens Sharokh’s playstyle.
How to play against Sharokh
- Keep in mind that Sharokh’s passive gives him an advantage as long as he walks on water. If you see him stacking his passive, take the opportunity and CC him so he loses it immediately.
- Whenever Sharokh is low on energy, strike fast – He won’t be able to do much as long as he has not the opportunity to spam his spells on you.
- Sharokh is fragile and his damage output comes both from magic and physical sources, thus concentrate on Health defense or full damage, to eliminate him when the chances are up.
- If you’re experienced enough, you can stun or damage Sharokh while he dashes with Q to another Whirlpool.
- Whenever Sharokh casts his Whirlpools, try to destroy it – even if he casts his Q on you. Without the Whirlpool, he has a lower damage output.
- Save your stuns, snares or slows to get rid of Sharokh once he casts his Ultimate on you.
- A good Sharokh player will first slow you with his third basic attack and then start his ultimate, to guarantee a couple of hits.
