Rework/New Abilities for Aatrox. My thoughts.
Ok so I've played Aatrox right when I started playing League of Legends. He was the first champion that I truly picked up and tried to master and I love him to death but as of late I've been feeling like he just doesn't have a place in League anymore, that he isn't as good or as fun to play anymore. As of right now he is more of, if you build too tanky you deal no damage but if you build too much damage you get blown up instantly. So I started to think, what could be done to make him better, not op but more fun to play and much smoother in his play-style and this is what I have come up with. Now remember this is only my thoughts/opinion nothing more and I would love to hear your thoughts as well and tell me what you think.
passive: Aatrox collects the blood of the enemies that he hits and stores it in a blood well. Aatrox's blade grows stronger the more blood he collects but his blade will consume the blood if he is not in combat for an extended period of time but it will never go below 25%. Aatrox gains bonus attack speed, bonus attack damage, and bonus life steal depending on how much blood is in his blood well and the bonuses increase if Aatrox falls below a health thresh hold. Aatrox's abilities now cost blood from his blood well to be cast. If Aatrox takes lethal damage he extracts the blood from his blood well and heals himself. Q: Stays the same. W: Removed and replaced with something else, I have yet to come up with anything for this yet. E: Resets his auto attack timer. Aatrox's blade extends and hits every enemy in front of him in a cone and slows them by %.
My Idea was that Aatrox should be more based around his blood well and his blade growing stronger from the blood of his enemies because in his lore that's what we can see him doing, is entering into battles on the loosing side and turning the fight with him slaughtering everyone. Growing stronger with every battle that he fights in. He does this all through out recorded history. Anyways that's my thoughts on him and I would love to hear yours on the matter. And I would love it if riot would look at this and get some ideas from it.
