**Daemon: The Novice Magician **

Daemon is meant to be a fun joke champion like Amumu. His kit is based around him screwing up most of the time, but eventually becoming a feared magician though sheer willpower alone. He would play out like an anime protagonist.

Lore:

As a kid, Daemon was enticed by magic. He spent every night in his library studying all kinds of spells. Once he was able to, he joined a university to become a real magician. He had the most charisma in his year, but his grades reflected his true performance and knowledge of spell craft. After failing and repeating most of his classes, Daemon barely passed and was reluctantly declared a state magician. However, after almost accidently injuring his boss, he was cast out and stripped of his title of state magician.

Although Daemon has been exiled, he hasn’t given up hope. He searched the land to find one of his idols, Ryze. After many failed attempts of following in Ryze’s footsteps, Daemon met his childhood idol. The meeting was brief and unpleasant: Daemon annoyed the hell out of Ryze. Ryze refused to mentor Daemon, and yet again Daemon’s dreams were shot down. Still determined, Daemon decided to join the League to watch and study other magicians, and eventually impress his idol.

Passive: “Isn’t there a rule about this?” Daemon doesn’t know the rules of League very well, so he has no CDR cap. With the lack of experience though, CDR is only 75% effective on him.

Q: “Enchant Attack?” Daemon tries to cast an offensive spell, but instead heals allied units. “Enchant Attack?” sends out a small blast of magic that explodes upon hitting an allied champion. The projectile travels through and heals allied non-champions (minions, ect). The explosion radius heals allied units upon impact. The projectile heals for (base#)+(%Bonus HP), healing minions for half the amount. The explosion grants allied units increased movement speed (base#)+(%Bonus MS). This spell is on a short cooldown, and increases base and bonus% heal per level, and decreases cool down per level.

W: “Enchant Teleport?” Daemon attempts to teleport to a target location, but instead disables opposing champions from blinking and dashing. “Enchant Teleport?” applies a debuff to enemy champions within a wide radius. This debuff prevents its target from using abilities that blink or dash for (Base#)+(Bonus% Mana) time. This spell is on a medium cool down, and the debuff’s time bonus% increases per level. This ability isn't affected by CDR.

E: “Enchant Stun?” Daemon tries to cast a binding spell, but instead frees his allied champions of CC. “Enchant Stun?” frees allied champions of CC in a radius around himself and grant an aura of bonus MS (base#)+(%Bonus HP). The aura persists for (base#)+(%Bonus Mana). This spell is on a medium-high cool down, and decreases per level. The base amounts increase per level, but not the bonus %.

R: “Daemon Gets it Right!” After reading his notes again (and turning his book right-side-up), Daemon finally understands how stuff works. After channeling for a short time, Daemon’s spells work as intended. His moment of brilliance only lasts for a short time though, as he eventually trips and stuns himself at the end of the duration, reverting back to his pathetic self. The initial channel lasts for (3,2,1) second(s), and his moment of brilliance lasts for (15,30,45) seconds, stunning himself for (2,1.5,1) second(s) at the end. The cool down of this ability is (45,30,15) seconds. All of his corrected abilities share the same cooldown as their failed counterparts.

Q: “Enchant Attack!!” The projectile now harms enemies, dealing (base#)+(Bonus%AP). The explosion slows enemy units for (base#)+(Bonus%MS).

W: “Enchant Teleport!!” Daemon now correctly blinks to target location in a short range. Daemon is also granted damage reduction and ghost for a short moment.

E: “Enchant Stun!!” Daemon now correctly casts a binding spell in an area around him. Enemy champions are stunned for (base#). An aura persists around him that reduces enemy champions’ movement speed by (base#)+(Bonus%AP). The aura continues for (base#)+(Bonus%MS).

Champion Notes Daemon is a ranged attacker, using bolts of common-knowledge magic to attack. He is weak and squishy, but has decent movement speed (so many scary monsters!)

He can be played as an early-game, team fight-oriented support, or a late-game crazy DPS mage. With no CDR cap, his DPS is insane. However, that would leave him very mana-hungry and low on AP with a max CDR build.

Joke/Special Interactions

Joke: He exclaims how he's late for his studies and grabs a piece of toast. (Standard high school anime girl stereotype).

Interactions: With Ryze on same team, but not nearby, "I hope master Ryze notices my abilities!" With Ryze on same team, and nearby, "Look, I'm helping!" With Ryze on opposing team, "I'll show you that I'm worthy of being your apprentice!"

OP's notes: This is my first time posting on the forums, please go easy on me. I just want a new fun champ that isn't serious like all the new releases. I tried my best to balance so neither Mid nor Support Daemon would be OP.

I think it's a pretty interesting idea, however I think he would struggle very hard to be relevant before level 6 (ESPECIALLY if you tried to play him mid). Even with his ult though, I don't think he has enough offensive capabilities as it stands to be viable. Maybe you could alter it a bit to be that his non-ulted abilities have a chance to proc they way he wants them to.
