Kayle archetype doesn't really fit a sword&broad style.

But seriously though, Leona is the shield and sword champ like Stars said. They need to keep champs a bit more diverse than just repeating the same things. Kayle is said to be a melee to ranged machine in the rework so adding things like a shield doesn't even make sense.
