I think at the end of the season if you are in gold or higher you should be able to chose the victorious skin you want from any of the seasons because for most people who want a skin from a season that they weren't a part of or didn't have the game at the time.
I feel like they wouldn't do it because it seems like Riot enjoys some people being to show how long they've been playing League, they added the legacy watermark, banner type thing over skins that aren't available anymore such as Definitely Not Blitzcrank. Although that skin is available through mystery gifting, you won't get the water mark in the loading screen because you didnt buy the skin when it was released. However, if you bought it in 2011, they want people to see that. (Same as Pax Sivir and TF, who many people just threw out the code or just never played League, so very few people have the skin)
Yes, even though it might ruin the quality is of having the skin from way back then ,just having the skin from the seasons people weren't apart that could be their favorite like me I obviously want the victorious Janna skin because I main her but if this were a thing it would still have the effect where you won't be able to have all the victorious skins. I would at least hope there could be a chance for people who didn't have the game at the time but are devoted enough they could have this opportunity , because yes for players who have been playing since season 2 or from the beginning they missed their opportunity. So with that being said I just wanna believe there is hope in players like me getting one.
