New Champion Base Concepts (No physical appearence or lore)
I personally think that the LoL champ-pool is definitely large and it covers a diversity of elements implemented within the champions; abilities, unique appearances, elements that are integrated within that champs lore and abilities.
However, I noticed apart from mainly Kennen; a lack of champions with a burst-like lightning effect.
And I know that champs like Blitzcrank, Jayce, Zed, Xerath etc use a 'lightning-like' effect, but its really more 'energy' than lightning.
The champ would be mainly based off skill-shots, the champion have some cc and would be a melee champion.
The cc would be in the ultimate (R) and the E ability.
The champion would have mana.
He is a hybrid champion; although he scales with AP much higher.
The champion would preferably be mid-lane or top-lane.
The champion is NOT an assassin. The champion could build more tank, or build full damage with little tank. He is played depending on the enemy champions and the in-game situation.
Abilities:
Passive - On death, lightning would projectile from the body in 360 degrees. Doing damage.
The cool down would be 120 seconds.
Q - The 'Q' ability would be like Xin Zhao's 'E' (Audacious Charge) and Jayce's 'Q' (Shock Blast) in-which the would charge forwards (in any direction) then shoot an orb or lightning bolt towards any direction. This is a skill-shot, so it can be used to escape if necessary.
The 'Q' would consume 50 mana.
The cool down would be 6 seconds.
W - The 'W' ability would critically enhance the champions melee attacks; when activated, the champion gains 15% critical strike for only three strikes. Every-time you strike you gain 2 seconds to the countdown of 6 seconds after activation of the ability.
The 'W' would consume 60 mana.
The cool down would be 10 seconds.
E - The 'E' ability would be a ranged attack, the champ raises the weapon (the longer he holds the weapon up the more damage it will do) and strikes on the selected ground. The casting ground would be similar to Jarvan's 'E' (Demacian Standard) and the radius of the lightning that strikes the ground would be half or Leona's ultimate (Solar Flare). It would do damage and would slow the target inside the area.
The 'E' would consume 75 mana.
The cool down would be 9 seconds.
R - The ultimate (R) would be similar to that of Braum's ultimate (Glacial Fissure). The champion would strike the ground and pillars of lightning would rise in front of where the champion attacked. Extending to similar lengths of Jarvan's 'Q' (Dragon Strike). Whatever enemy champions are hit in the ultimate, would sustain a five second excess of lightning damage (similar to an ignite).
The ultimate (R) would consume 120 mana.
The cool down would be 150 seconds.
Well; that's just a brief overview of the champions general stats, abilities etc. Further details on the champ itself (physical appearance, lore, skins, base-stats) will be released if enough interest is shown on the discussion.
