How about with the classic lightning bolt? When I hear Ziggy Stardust, the lightning bolt on the face is always what pops into my mind.

I like it! I'd get that skin, definitely. (also: the pun. I love it most for the pun.)

That's not Ziggy Stardust though, that's Aladdin Sane.

Aladdin Sane was described by Bowie himself as simply "Ziggy goes to America"

The brief overview the Wikipedia page gives on Aladdin Sane is... vague at best. XD I'll defer to Bowie's description of the new character (Aladdin Sane), though. To quote Juliet (I can't believe I'm quoting my least favourite Shakespeare play): "A rose by any other name smells as sweet." And it sounds like that's what Aladdin is/was - A Ziggy by another name.

I rather wonder how the Aladdin Sane face became the most recognizable "Ziggy" face, though. It shows up in Ziggy searches, and I'd never heard of Aladdin Sane before you brought it to my attention. I also remember the David Bowie tribute for the "Aladdin Sane" lightning bolt on all the different faces, but took it to be "Ziggy Stardust," even then.
