Muting Individual Player Pings

I know I'm not the only one who has had this happen: You're in game. You're not doing anything wrong. You're not raging at anyone. The game has barely even begun, and suddenly you're plagued with an onslaught of "Enemy Missing" pings directly on your champion. "Spam pinging" has become a way for toxic players to grief consistently without punishment. There is no report option for "spam pings" and the only thing you can do to try and deal with this nuisance is mute ping sounds. You can't mute the individual from pinging, and if you mute all your pings you will miss the useful ones from other teammates. I propose that Riot offer a function to mute an individual player's pings. While pings are an effective way to alert your teammates, they can also be a devastating attention puller when in the wrong hands.
