Disappoint with Lightning Archetype

So the other day I was thinking about Archetypes in the game and what I would like to see in the game. And the first thing that came to my mind was the whole idea of fast game play and how much I enjoy it: Leblanc, zed, yasuo, lee sin, etc. But I realized something that seemed weird. None of the lightning archetype champions are fast. Not one. Take Kennen for example, HE IS THE FASTEST NINJA IN THE LORE, but none of his game play really reflexes that idea. I just press e wait about 2 to 3 seconds then press r with AP Kennen or with AD Kennen I just auto attack until they die. Don't get me wrong, I love Kennen and I don't want to see him reworked; however, I love the idea of "lightning fast" and there isn't a lightning character that is fast. By League of Legends logic, wind is faster than lighting because Yasuo and Janna either in game play or in just moving around the map are significantly faster than Kennen or Volibear and that just feels really wrong to me. Please let me know your thoughts on this.

Interestingly, Volibear and Kennen are both faster than every character you mentioned there save Janna. Those characters are more mobile, but Volibear and Kennen have speed boosts that the others lack. Kennen's speed boost is also super fast compared to many in the game, which I think captures the lightning feel well.

But I get what you mean. To some extent I believe it's due to the age of Kennen's kit, and the simplicity of Volibear's (plus the fact that Volibear channels storms, but isn't really supposed to be a fast character).

There's probably room for another lightning-fast character, but you'd have to really make his concept distinct from Kennen, I think.

I agreed that Volibear and Kennen are fast by themselves; however what I am getting at is speed of gameplay. I don't know if I can say it for everyone, but I never felt that I really even need reflexes to play Volibear or Kennen.

This guy's kit can actually make do in LoL without too much hassle. Maybe not the passive AA stun, but I think rest can fit in.

But then again, Kennen is already a champ made based on this guy (his Dota1 self).
