Suggestion for Yasou's Windwall

Currently, Yasuo is one of the most infuriating opponents (for me, and I'm sure many others). The mechanic of his shield AND his wind-wall both drive me pretty nuts. Using the windwall to deny CS (which shouldn't even be a thing since that is a major anti-fun mechanic - it is one mechanic Riot decided to change from Dota) and then being able to block a counter attack with his phat passive shield removes a lot of counterplay.

I propose combining the two abilities - prevent Yasuo from using Windwall if he does not have his passive up. Once using windwall, his passive will be down.

This gives Yasuo the ability to use both, but not at the same time, while also allowing for more counterplay. Otherwise I suggest removing Yasou's ability to prevent CS with Windwall, only for game health.

usually when playing into a yasuo, all you really have to do is not be scared of him.

Use your autoattack to proc his shield and move away so he can't trade with you. The moment he tries windwalling you off your cs, just step towards the side of the wave (make sure you're warded), pop his shield thing asap to make him think twice about immediately starting a fight over it, and back away, making sure to continue farming. If he tries to make a move immediately despite just using his wall and losing his shield, just beat him up. he has no more defenses, and his mobility is reliant on him being near your minions (and therefore taking extra damage if he picks a fight in the middle of all of them) so as long as you play smart, he's a pushover at that point.

Now, if your team goes and feeds him 5 kills after you beat him in lane, at least you can say it wasn't you, it was them.

Or pick Vel/Lux and watch him cry. That works too. Thinking windwall blocks lasers... They always try, and they always fail.

My main issue with Yas is 1 crit item and he's better than Trynd, who has to stack up for crit chance... Now that's pretty lame. And he'll stay at 2 item 100% crit while all adc's will soon have to get 4 items.

My personal counter to Yasuo sweats is Lissandra. They try to gapclose, you press W and back up, so they cant really get in your face. They try and windwall you off, you step up like I mentioned then do this for super free trade. Then while they don't have a wall you just frag them to scraps with your Q cause they really can't do much about it if they want their own farm.

And to top it all off, it's literally impossible for them to kill you, because you just ult yourself for a heal if they get too close to doing so, then W them off you and escape with your E.

The only real issue with her as a counterpick is your team: she's not exactly a burst mage...but she's also pretty short ranged for a poke mage. So if your team has you in a 1v9 game, it can get really hard to carry...whereas that yasuo you kept unfed for the first 20 minutes of the game is suddenly 14/2 off your team and obliterating everything you were doing well to protect.

So tilting when your allies feed your opponent... Especially when you were going even in lane and they counter-picked YOU. Or they're a LeBlanc who seems to counter everyone.

That's always the funniest one though, when your team blames you, the only guy on your team with a KDA that looks better than 5/10/2, the only one with more than 100 cs by 20 minutes, and the only one who managed to take literally any objective, when you just beat a low plat Katarina as mid lane Caitlyn.

Believe it or not, that's actually something I've done...though tbf, most of my kills were on the enemy jungler's failed ganks, not the actual Kat. xD

"Mid cait gg report x9 plz!" says my team of feeders about their 10/3/6 mid adc vs assassin. (I actually ended it at 12/7/9, after the bot lane literally sat in well throwing their temper tantrum and finally feeding Kat, but by the end of the first 25 minutes, I was 10/3/6)

Moral to that story: Don't wait until your actual adc locks in his champion before claiming that "I'm going bot with my duo" and proceeding to feed the enemy a combined 37 kills in 35 minutes at bot lane. >.>

I felt bad for our jungler though. he was the only other one still trying by 10 minutes.

I've never understood the "give up 5 minutes into the game" mindset. I've had games where my team DOMINATES the enemy, and then 1 wrong play loses us the entire game. If only my teammates knew it was possible.

Once I went Vel'Koz support(which I often do) and went like 24/5/7 or something, even STOLE the Baron with my R once, and the mid Yas literally said that he didn't want us to win because of ME, and the jungler I think? He might've been trying too, it was him or top. But Yas didn't want us to win because I was carrying the team and not him, and good ol' top/jung(whichever one WASN'T trying) agreed with him. They wanted to report me for almost single-handedly carrying the game. As soon as I died again the enemy team just swept the floor with my team and we lost xP I love roaming around as a fed af Vel'Koz, blowing people up in 0.5 seconds flat.

I think the worst things are: A: Jungler says he is coming to gank, so you initiate a fight, and then jungler turns the other way and leaves you for dead. Like "I wouldn't have fought if I knew you WEREN'T coming." B: Getting camped by enemy jungler hard af and your jungler completely ignores you and stays bot/top far away from you for no reason.

I remember once getting tower-dived by 5 minutes in as Morde... repeatedly, and my jungler did nothing. It was sooo tilting.

Pretty sure the ultimate horror story I have in this regard is probably the game I was playing middlesticks into kat. Funny story: Fid actually hard counters Kat. He fears her when she tries to jump in, he keeps good ranged poke with E, and she really can't all in him without help because he can actually full combo her pretty hard.

But the junglers decided the laning phase. Theirs was a Khazix that camped her all game and started helping her dive me pretty much constantly. Ours was a Nasus who literally afk farmed for 35 minutes while pretty much spamming "guess you shouldn't play fiddlesticks" every time someone made a play. Bot started freaking out too (the adc was definitely duo with the jungler) about how fed Kat was getting (actually, Khazix stole all her kills but like 3) while the enemy Lucian was shredding both our bot laners like they were cannon minions.

I really don't know how we won that game...the Nasus was like 1/10/0 by 25 minutes, but I started just rolling with our Darius and 2v5ing the enemy team even though the only one that wasn't fed af was their top laner.

Moral of these stories? Apparently 2/5 people actually try to win games xD And 1/5 typically rages at you or AFKs or whatnot. Good ol' League community.
