SUGGESTION: Remove Ranked Solo/Duo in Season 8 at Bronze,Silver & Gold ELOs

Ranked at lower ELOs is more about playing with your friends and having a good time then a competitive game. I suggest for Season 8 that we bring back the style of Season 6 Ranked where you can que with how many friends you want and only have 1 rank for summoners rift. In plat and diamond have only solos and duos then in master and challenger have solos. (I don't know anything about high elos however) In the lower elo brackets I had much more fun last season with all my friends than this season by myself or with one other.

If you have any suggestions or reasoning's why this will or won't work feel free to leave it below!

So for season 8 riot please introduce 1 ranked system for low elos where you can play with 1,2,3,4 or 5. From us bronzies <3

So how exactly will you ever be able to play Solo/DuoQ, seeing as every account starts out at silver rank? How will players below plat ever reach plat and be allowed into SoloQ?

Low elo ranked play is NOT a place to have fun with friends. If you think so then that is your personal preferrence and does not apply to the majority of league of legends players.

If you want to play ranked matches with multiple friends, play flex queue. That's why its there.

The way I see it, Bronze and Silver are ELOs that are meant for having the player learn their position of their role, the general dos and don't of that role and learning micro play (Flashes, combo, dueling potential, etc) and general macro play. Silver and higher is when macro plays are more advanced, where you need to know when to roam based on waves, specific jungle routes, etc. Of course, you have to get better at your champions as you move up, but communication, especially without talking or typing, is just as important when learning the game.

Also, if you only have flex for lower ELOs, you're presenting the problem of ELO boosting. A group of plat or diamond players on smurf accounts can basically boost their silver friends up to their level (or low gold), a level they weren't prepared for due to the amount of game knowledge you need to stay at that level.

The other problem is that the bottom 3 tiers of ELO, hell, even Bronze itself, are VERY diverse in player skill. For me, I'm not as mechanically skilled as my Silver or Gold friends, but can make just as good shot calls as them. Likewise, my Bronze 2 friends are WAY better than me than most roles besides Top in terms of micro play, but they don't make any shot calls at all. It's why I've seen some people suggest adding a division below Bronze 5 because League is that diverse.

TLDR: Remove ranked que types Solo/Duo and Flex for 1 Que type where any amount of friends can que together in Bronze,Silver and Gold

I guess I might not have worded this post as I would have liked to. But what I am saying is for me as a low elo player I have most fun in league playing with my friends. If you are in bronze silver or gold I feel as if lots of players don't play the game solely as a competitive game and plays it for fun but as you go up the ranks the players play competitively. For me I had most fun last season where I could play ranked with all of my friends in 1 game. We would all climb together and have lots of fun. This season I find ranked flex is sort of another version of normals and don't think anyone really cares about that rank. So no one wastes their time playing flex with all of your friends when you could split into groups of 2 and just play solo/duos. And I don't think solo/duo in low ranks and elos is really adding as much fun as it had removed where if you really wanted a competitive experience you would most likely not be in bronze or will climb out by the end of the season where the casuals who try to play with friends will be in low elos. If you don't have a large group of friends that all play league you probably wouldn't understand where I am coming from and obviously you wouldn't like this but there aren't what I would call competitive players in Bronze Silver or Gold and if there was lots they would all get out due to all the casuals there.

I don't play with friends. Much less so in ranked when I do ranked. I enjoy the lone wolf climb.
