Rank system like in Star Craft PLZ

i like the ranking system in Star Craft 3 very much, and think League of Legends should do something similar... since it is more fun.

It works like this... U don't get ONE rank, but several ranks depending on who you are playing with.

E.g. Bob plays with John - they are Silver 2 Bob plays with John and Evan - they are Gold 3 Bob plays with John, Evan and Mary - they are Diamond 2 and so on... - Ranked depending on who you play with u get the point ! :)

I think this is already how team MMR functions. It takes the average of the team and matches you against other teams of the same average. The difference is in perception since only your individual rank is displayed explicitly by Riot. MMR is unknown to us (3rd party MMR is extrapolated, but not exact).

It's not your rank that determines your team and opponents. It's your hidden MMR.
