Still a WIP and open to suggestion.

Experiment X, The Amorphous Blob

Intro

After the creation of The Secret Weapon, the previous failures were no longer needed. Most were killed as if they were nothing but failed experiments. Some were left to starve and die in their cages. A few forgotten. However, one managed to hang on. Breaking free from its' cage, the experiment started to take over the remaining experiments. It learned as it swallowed the others. Growing stronger and allowed it to morph. By taking the shapes of the other weapons, the experiment was able to use their abilities to escape. As it swallowed more and more, it learned to mimic the shapes of its' enemies. However, it seemed to have one only purpose in mind. Becoming perfect. It swallowed every experiment in the lab, but it was missing something. It sensed something far off into the distance. "Z...Zac."

Skills

[Passive] Engross

Experiment X swallowed enemy minions and monsters instead of killing them with basic attacks. Swallowing an unit increases Experiment X's Health, Armor, and Magic Resist by 0.1%. Engross is removed while Experiment X is transformed. [Excludes Cannon Minions and Large Monsters]

[Q] Mutate Cost: 5% of current Health Cooldown: 5 seconds Casting Range: 625

Experiment X launches a piece of his own flesh at an enemy. The flesh slowly crawls back to Experiment X and heals him for the total cost. [The flesh can not be targeted]

[W] Deconstruct and Reconstruct Cost: 5% of current Health per second Cooldown: 26 / 23 / 20 / 17 / 14 seconds

Experiment X breaks down and seeps into the ground. In this form Experiment X is untargetable and is able to go through thin walls. Experiment X takes health damage over time.

[E] Mitosis Cost: 50% of current HP Cooldown: 120 seconds

Experiment X drops off half of his flesh on the ground. If Experiment X dies while the flesh remains on the ground, he gains control of the flesh and regenerates himself. The flesh from Mitosis decays at 1% per second. [The Flesh can be targeted by enemy units.]

[R] Perfected Form Cost: N/A Cooldown: 30 / 20 / 10 seconds per rank

At rank 1 Experiment X can take the form of any ally champion and gaining their passive, basic skills, and attack range until cancelled. Experiment X does 20% less damage while in Perfected Form. At Rank 2 Experiment X can take the form of any enemy champion and gain their passive and basic skills, and attack range until cancelled. Experiment X does 10% less damage while in Perfected Form. At Rank 3 Experiment X has perfected the form and can take the form of any champion. Perfected Form no longer reduces damage done. [Casting Perfected Form again will cancel the effect]

I love this idea,

I like having the resource not be mana (I know that it's not super rare but I still think it's somewhat unique), just have a couple of questions

  1. Is it still able to do his passive while its ult is active? I'd assume so but I think it would be weird on a ranged champion.

  2. How are you able to cancel its ult? (unless ult doesn't count as a basic skill, in which case sorry for stupid question)

  3. Does this thing look like Zac in it's basic form (a pile of goo) or something else? I know that it can shape-shift, but what does it normally look like?

I'm glad to see that someone thought of someone who could fit in with Zac's lore and think that's this champion is really cool. Great job designing!

The passive is removed while he's transformed.

Sorry, I must have forgotten to put it in there. Pressing R again cancels the ult.

It is a mixture of all different colors, mainly dark green and dark purple. He has no shape to him, he moves around like an Amoeba. His autoattack is him throwing himself onto the enemy. If the minion were to die, he just takes their place and they are absorbed into him.

I'm glad to see that someone thought of someone who could fit in with Zac's lore and think that's this champion is really cool. Great job designing!

Thank you very much! I was just thinking of a champ that would be able to clone without being too overpowered.

I know, Zac is kind of a lackluster champion. Even if this was similar to his rework, that would be awesome.

It's my personal opinion. It's just that an amorphous secret weapon should actually change forms, not just be a little stretchy and bounce around. Personally, a secret weapon should have some kind of trick up their sleeve or just be super strong. Zac doesn't really feel like either of those.

Because coding a champion like that would take a lot of work. With a skillset of 4 skills that's asking for a lot. Lore wise Zac fills the description.
