(Champion Suggestion) Saruji, Demon of the South Wind

Possible Jungler / Toplaner

Saruji would be based off Oni, a mythological creature of Japanese origins. Personally, I'd love to see more Asian themed champions coming from Ionia and I think this could be a good one - whether it's just a few ideas that get worked into something down the road or just the entire idea ported in.

Saruji would have two forms, somewhat like Nidalee. His first would be similar to Jhin's in the fact that'd have his attack speed locked (or at least reduced) because he'd use a large two handed sword. This would be a somewhat tanky version I suppose. His next form would take his sword and split it in two - increasing his attack speed but reducing his overall damage to possibly something like 90% (or basic attacks only deal 90% of base damage)? (Maybe apply magical damage on hit? I'd really like to see him with rageblade). You could use this for an R, like Nidalee's but possibly with a longer CD. (Possibly give it a cast time?) P

In the first form (big sword) he would swing his blade forward in a cone like shape, any targets hit would be pushed away. In second form (two little swords) he would leap on his target. Q

First form could have like a shield that outright blocks all incoming damage for half a second? Maybe a second. Or just be a shield that taunts nearby enemies while he laughs. Second form could just be an attack speed steroid - increasing his attack speed for a certain duration but reducing it afterwards until it's off CD (like Master Yi's Wuju Style but with attack speed instead of AD kinda). W

First form would have a charge ability (similar to Gragas or Sejuani - not much else to say). Second form would have a whirlwind spin attack that would launch him forward while he spinned in the air, applying basic attacks and on hit effects for a few strikes. E

Name and title are kinda placeholder, could be easily changed.

It's a rough concept and could definitely use some work, feel free to suggest any changes.

I feel he should actually keep that club instead of using a sword(though maybe a different design). After all that club is pretty much the most iconic weapon for an Oni and we already have a good amount of sword users,but only one champ who uses a club. Though dual wielding half clubs would seem a bit awkward,so what if he had a weapon that could transform?Complete with some cloud effect where the club goes "poof" and he suddenly has 2 swords instead?

I'm sorry but I can't get over how much he looks like Junkrat from Overwatch xD I got scared when you said "like nidalee" but wouldn't it be just like jinx then with a slow heavy hitting attack versus a fast lower damage one?

He'd be an adaptable champion I suppose (maybe convert extra attack speed into bonus AD?). As far as the club idea, yeah it could work. You'd just have two swords sheathed instead of having a poof animation and he'd draw them that way instead, if that was the route to go.
