So... Taric, though...

We all know Taric needs a major rework. These are things I think would work well on the Gem Knight.

Passive Reflection: Taric gain 100 refraction charges from movement and ability casting. Once he has 100 stacks, Taric's gems will glow, and any crowd control that hits him will affect the caster. Taric will still take 25 - 60% reduced damage from the spell.

Q: Gem Miner Active: Taric will strike the ground causing all minion to take 25/55/85/115/150 (+25% AP) in damage. If he manages to hit a champion, a gem will come from the ground, knocking them up and stunning them for 1/1.5/2 seconds. (Time levels up every other time a summoner levels up Q)

Passive: For every minion or neutral monster he kills, he will add a gem to his collection. For every 12 gems collected from minions or neutral monsters, he will gain 5 armor and magic resist. For every Champion, Dragon, or Baron kill or assist, he will gain a rare jewel equaling 1 armor, 1 magic resist, 1 ability power, and .5 health.

W: Deep Sapphire Active: Taric summons a blue aura around him and his ally, healing both of them for 75/105/135/165/195 (+65% AP).

E: Knight's Valor Taric dashes toward an enemy, ramming them, knocking them back, and slowing them with his hammer damaging them for 30/65/100/135/170 plus an extra 10% with a slow if they hit terrain (+15% AP and 85% AD). He gains 5/10/15/20/25 armor and magic resist (+5% Armor and MR). If the rams through and ally, or if his target hit an ally, that ally gains a field of diamonds protecting them for 150/200/250/300/350 (+50% AP) health for 3 seconds.

R: Terraquake Taric throws his hammer straight up from his current location to any location on the map, knocking up all enemies in that area, damaging them for 200/225/250/275/300 (+75% AP) and slowing them for five seconds (because he will summon his hammer back to his side) or until he teleports to his hammer. He will gain an attack speed and damage buff upon teleportation. If we waits to summon his hammer back, this buff will not activate.

Anyway, that's just me throwing an idea out there. You can like it or hate it. I'm actually just throwing this idea out there in hopes that more people will do the same.
