hi guys, was just playing, and had this idea, that before the nexus can be damamged, all three inhibs must b destroyed, i think gives more of a comeback chance, more challenging game...

"The Nexus turrets are untargetable, although they can still target champions, unless one or more of a team's inhibitors are destroyed, and will remain vulnerable until all of the inhibitors have regenerated. Until these turrets are destroyed, the Nexus is untargetable as well. "

While I realise the idea behind this is to make games more challenging and give a better comeback chance, I think it would do the opposite. Sure, the games will draw out longer, but there's no true chance of turning a game around after just a single teamfight.

Let's say this was implemented. Your team's horribly behind, only your top lane having killed two turrets, but the enemy is down to your last inhib. A teamfight breaks loose around your inhib and you somehow ace the enemy team without any losses. Your toplaner goes top, pushes down that turret and inhib, your mid laner and jungler go mid and take the first turret and your ADC and support takes the bottom turret. You just got 3 turrets and an inhib in this time. If you weren't forced to focus all lanes, you'd be at the nexus right now, but because every lane has to be pushed in, there's still 6 turrets and 2 inhibs to go instead of standing at the nexus right then and there. You have to still defend a single inhib, but you'll be forced to win another teamfight to do more pushing.

If we run that scenario with how it is now, the enemy team is pushing for the first inhib to make your turrets vulnerable. You win the teamfight and everyone goes top, pushes the towers and inhib down. Because you only would have to go through one, maybe two creep waves doing this, instead of the three-six in the other scenario, you'd have more time to attack the inhib, maybe even time enough to destroy it.

With how the system is now, it actually allows comebacks like this to happen, whereas changing the system would force you into Acing the enemy team multiple times if you're behind to come back.

I agree with you on that, about comeback.

Actually I think a better solution is just to make turrets have a lot more HP and armor, so they take a while to destroy, even if they just scaled upward as the game progressed.

Thanks for your input guys.
