Player Influenced Abilities/characters.

When someone suggests a new character or ability for character design, and you decide to use it, does that player get a nod or any sort of recognition? Even if its not public, I think that might be pretty cool to be told, "Hey, your idea was useful in moving our project along. Thanks a lot."
