Battle Boss Blitzcrank feels slow

I play blitzcrank a lot, and I just bought his new skin. I feel like this skin makes some of the animations slow, such as changing directions for simple movement and primarily a small delay in his Q. Has anyone else noticed this compared to using no skin at all?
