Can we make Ornn harvest ore and not use gold?

I think it would be so cool if Ornn didnt use gold at all, and instead was given a way to find ore/materials. kinda like how ivern is against killing jungle monsters, Ornn has no need for gold!

he'd have to earn some passively so hes not screwed if he gets behind, and itd have to earn at the same rate as a normal champ could earn gold. perhaps when he hits a brittle target he generates ore, and bard/thresh style nodes spawning?

i dont know but itd be super unique to not use gold!

EDIT: just realised how this would impact CSing, i guess every last hit would generate an ore fragment.
