Summoner Champion Concept

Can someone explain me fiddlestick lore? - League of Legends Community

Lore When the League first started, summoners didn't have as many rules as to who they could summon. They soon began placing limitations on it, but some didn't want to accept it.

One man wanted to be better than everyone else, and spent a great deal of effort and time summoning a great evil from another dimension.

He didn't survive the ordeal (Fiddlesticks likely killed him as soon as he was summoned), and after some failed attempts to find out what happened, the chamber where the summoning took place was sealed away for a long time.

Afterwards, summoners tried to summon 'whatever' was inside the chamber, and found it was possible to use him on the Fields of Justice. His more sinister role within the League, though, is executioner. One step into his chamber has always resulted in death.

Thank you Cerubois for explaining the fiddlesticks lore for me, which is what is above.

Basically, the lore of the champion is that the the summoner who summoned him instead of getting killed, swapped places with fiddlesticks in the other dimension, where he then trained his powers to the point of which he was powerful enough to join the league itself, which he did do. The reason he did is to get back to his dimension.

Ideas Because he is a summoner the basic idea of what he looks like is worn down summoner robes, but instead of wearing the hood that blocks out the face, he took it off. Also all of his abilities will directly affect champions. Like maybe making their next movement command a blink, or their next basic attack a skill shot that goes toward the targeted direction and does a ton of damage.

Passive I want his passive to be a ability that doesn’t affect his gameplay very much, put is either really hard for enemies to deal with and makes your allies have to think more productively. Like maybe something like every 30 seconds he randomly places a orb in the air, that then seeks out allied champions absorbs them. Once absorbed the champion auto attacks and abilities make the orb grow, up to a max of five basic attacks or abilities in side, while growing it can absorb more targets. After it reaches max size it then explodes dealing damage, and maybe pushing away, enemies around it, but not champs or minions absorbed. This would make enemies and allies have to think more productively about it, maybe dashing inside of it at the last second to avoid getting hurt, and allies would have to time it right. With that being said this wouldn’t probably make it into a kit, but something that makes enemies and allies, and not really yourself, think harder about it.

Q This I want to be his damaging ability for sure, maybe tied in with some cc. I’ve came up with few ideas, but none of them really fit with the summoner feel of controlling champions. One of the ones that I came up with was a area, a little smaller than the size of Gangplank ult, that lasted for about 30 secs - 1 min, and in it every three secs in a random spot inside, after a warning, a pillar would come up, do damage, knock up all people on top, and go back down. This doesn’t really make sense as a very good ability, and doesn’t fit with the theme though.

W This ability I’m pretty set on. The idea is that he would take an area and all minions, or neutral monsters (besides dragon and baron) inside would then be on your team. He would literally change their mindset. They would give vision around them too. Like if you were to use it on scuttle crab it would continue to walk the path it does, but you and your team could see around it, and couldn't hurt it.

E This ability I have one idea for. Basically he would put it on an allied champion, and one second after their next basic attack would do triple damage, and become a skillshot that fires in the direction of the person you're attacking, and does the damage to the first person hit.

R The ultimate I’m almost 100% on. How it works is that when activated he will start the channel, and every champions on your team, including yourself, lose all their mana or energy. During the channel, which last for three seconds or so, he can’t move. After he is done though he gives them full energy again, including himself, and it is empowered. Any spells used after that for about 10 seconds are stronger. CC lasts longer, damage on abilities are higher, health gained back from abilities are higher, and utility lasts longer and is stronger. For example, a shield that shields for 10 and lasts for 10 secs then lasts for 30 secs and shields for 30.

Everybody reading this feel free to post ideas, and have fun creating anything for it.

Too bad Summoners no longer exist lore-wise. They scrapped that idea a few years ago. Maybe this champion could come from an alternate timeline where the League still exists or something
