Dev suggestions

Making this as a place to post ideas for concepts/features, and gather them for the devs to see. (If they're interested.) I always find myself thinking of cool gameplay or character ideas that would be awesome if implemented and balanced, but I have a tendency to forget them quickly. This is pretty much a notepad for anyone with cool ideas to jot them down and share them. Who knows? Maybe some of them will actually be used.

One of my random, rambling ideas is the concept of a champion who adapts based on the items you buy for them. All the items have icons, but wouldn't it be cool to actually see some of them in the hands of a champion? I'm not talking about EVERY item. Maybe just some of the finished ones? Like, if you build a frozen mallet, they character will actually wield a frozen mallet, enhance the item's effects, and possibly have an ability that will change to match it? Or, if you build a seraph's embrace, they'll wield a staff, become a ranged attacker, and gain bonus AP? It would be an inventive way to create a champion with an extreme amount of customization options, as well as putting some long-standing, iconic shop items on a pedestal. How cool would it be to see a champion running down lane wielding one of the hydras? The only thing that may complicate it is making skins for the champion. Maybe when you apply a skin, it also reskins the items they wield, to match? Just a thought.

From what I understand, developers already search through the Creative board for character and skin concepts that they like. Or, at least they did at one point.

Had an idea for a character concept today. What about a character who manipulates their age to alter their abilities? Sort of like the opposite of Ekko, who manipulates time to alter things around him. Instead, he manipulates times to alter himself, and put to use the advantages and disadvantages that come with it. Like, he has preset temporal states, where he can change his age to certain points. For the sake of discussion, let's say they're at 25 and 50. When in his young form, he would be more agile, more precise, and more physically capable. But in his aged form, he would have a wider array of knowledge and experience, making him more versatile and adaptable, as well as more powerful in a focused direction. So, his younger form would make a better tank, or assassin, while his older form would play more as a mage or marksman. And, like Jayce Jayce , he could switch between them on the fly, but it would require a channel in order to make it more of a "fall back and switch" scenario, than a "switch on the fly" move. It could add a lot to the strategy and flow of team fights because it would make those details really significant. "Is this my chance to duck out, hide and switch forms for pursuit? Or do I need to stick around and help hold the line?" Of course, each decision would make large repercussions in the match as a whole, and would offer it's own risks/rewards. But those are the kinds of things that make a champion both challenging and fun to play.
