Apix, Sage of the Swarm [Character Concept]

Hello Lolers!

 For my first post I wish to present the character concept of a swarming champion. I have no conceptual preferences, or even names in particular in mind. However, I know I'd seriously enjoy a gaming option involving more risk assessment in game.
 The way that Apix(from the latin word for bee: Apis) could offer that risk is through moves that inparted stat debuffs. In this way Apix' number of bees or rats or whatever that surround him directly add to his stats so that when he throws a swarmcloud, he loses part of his defense/magic resistance/health as result. 

 I like the idea, but I'm mostly just interested in what others could see going on with an idea like this. What roles would/shouldhe focus on? What might his moves do/debuff.
