Came across this app as an advertisement and saw they have a character named "Ahri", a 9-tailed fox, with abilities ripped off from LoL's own Ahri. Not only that, but there are also copies of Lux, Garen, Maokai, etc.

Can they do this?

It's really a take or leave it thing. At this point the game is so big, that little rip offs that will amount to little to nothing won't do much harm. While it's still not cool, and definitely shouldn't exist it is what it is.

I mean if they go after every 2 bit rip off or stolen ip case they would have to double their legal team

Let's not make Riot like Nintendo, I'd rather not have them get the negative publicity of making everyone who tries to make something based off their concepts take it down. (Talking about Pokemon Uranium and that one Mario hack)

Lol the entire game is one giant rip-off! I mean Jezus... Hyper heroes is such a blatant copyright infringement that it can ONLY be Asian. Seriously, check it out! The game is fun and addictive af but seriously. Don't expect ANY original thought in this entire game. It just rips off every single good idea had by any game creator ever. It's like a giant pop culture reference of now! It's a game of "How many potential law suits can you identify in one jar if it were american". Seriously it's awesome! Try it!

As a little update to this thread, they definitely hit hyper heroes devs hard, the last week has contained 2-3 patches with "graphics changes" mainly meaning every single character that looked like a LoL character has been scrapped and entirely reworked visually. It's hilarious.

Hope they don't sue within the next 6 months. I'm low key addicted to it XD
