Crit Conundrum
So this might sound busted. I know. But bear with me. It's 4 in the morning, so I'm gonna ramble and go on and on and on, but if you read through this you might like the idea. Or hate me. I'm not too sure. We'll see. It's something to think about at the very least.
I'm gonna use Yasuo as an example, and that might be taboo, but he's the easiest example I can think of.
With Yasuo's passive, 50% crit becomes 100%. This makes this idea not only possible, but doable. It is standard to build Statikk/Phantom and then an IE, to get 100% crit. HUGE damage spike. It's really fun for a while, but then it just becomes a normal auto attack. It's virtually the same as building a sh*t ton of AD.
Again. This idea might sound busted. Which is why it's just an idea. Brainfood. Something to think about @Rioters.
What if, don't hate me, you got MORE THAN 100% crit, it would rollover. For example, if you built Statikk, Phantom, and IE on yasuo, you would have 160% crit. That 100% crit doubles(roughly, with passive multiplier nerf and IE buff), your damage. But that 60% disappears(which is why you don't overcap). What if it didn't. What if it that 60% on top of 100% had a chance to TRIPLE damage. Not to say it would have to triple.... It could be a weaker multiplier. Like an additional 50%.
Basically, 100 damage is doubled with the 100% to make 200 damage. Then, if you're lucky, the remaining 60% could turn 200 damage into 250(lets go with the 50% amplifier for this example). Wouldn't that be cool? Cause like. It's hard to make Reddit plays lucky crit if you have 100% crit. 100% crit is boring. :/ What do you think?
