A skin concept I created for Taliyah! I always thought her optimistic and youthful nature would make her a perfect Star Guardian. This took a lot of fun design work and fun with colors. Tell me what you think! I'm going to be creating her ability effects soon.

Jesus fucking christ, it's not automatically racism only because skin tone is involved. I'm not exactly saying she's inferior, i'm just saying that she doesn't fit with this specific concept due to her skin tone. I'm not exactly generalizing her based on steriotypes either, i'm just saying that her skin color is brown FOR A FACT, and that THE COLOR BROWN DOES NOT FIT WITH PINK. It's like how yellow would often fit horribly with a regular white person's skin tone. Like seriously now, in what way does pink automatically fit with brown just because racism bias is gone?

Which is the main problem. Suddenly throwing a yellow and brown character into a mish-mash of the brightest and most "magical" colors, just flat out doesn't work.
And the bright white doesn't fit her that much either.
