Small Tweaks for Kata? Riot Please :3

W Dagger should fall quicker, reduced by like 0.25 or 0.15 seconds. Cause straight out this small change will smoothen out her gameplay so much, especially after the E nerfs couple patches ago.

And

Ultimate when canceled or at the end of its duration give her a short burst of movement speed, which would help so much to chase after a target that has left the AoE of her ult and position for a better Q > E on an escaping target or after a reset.

I think these changes should help her keep up with the better assassins in the game. I feel as if her current state is really weak right now and that she is majorly outclassed by other assassins and I'm pretty sure this is shown to be true with the newly introduced and upcoming Akali Rework, the recent fizz changes where he doesn't have to wait so long for burst but deal consistent good damage which helps him skirmish early a lot, and current existing assassins like Zed, Talon, Ekko, LB, Kass, etc...

  • It's like the reverse of Talon's ult, instead of at the start, It's at the end.

##Other Interesting Ideas I've read throughout the Forums In regards to Kata A Comment on this post about a Katarina Rework Concept.

  • "I sometimes contemplate having her W reverted to the previous one and also drops a dagger at the same time. (Honestly, that dagger takes like 10 years to drop and slows down the one thing she offers for her team. damage. Especially in team fights and when your behind and can't get a reset.)"

Or

  • "Her Ultimate is not a channeled ability and is like an AoE instant burst that sends and drops like 3/4/5 daggers around the edge or just outside of its radius, this would be an interesting change. (The daggers would travel and drop like her Q, so it won't be instant."
  • "I'm pretty sure she's seen as a burst assassin so having a channeled damage over time ultimate shouldn't be necessary and could be alright to switch it to an AoE burst (Obviously numbers adjusted), especially with the current state of the game. Like, have you seen Akali rework!!!??? she has 3 gap closers, healing on her Q and true invisibility! TOWERS CANNOT SEE HER!!!!! KILL ME NOW!!! ow not to mention her passive is a one auto attack execute/nuke :D"

Man.. coming from another Kat player, I could not stress this enough. Katarina could seriously not compete against these other assassins. She’s been nerfed so hard. The only real nerf I believe was justifiable is the shunpo C/D when she was first reworked because the instant reset was ridiculous but they’ve gutted her hard. Bouncing blades triggers minion aggro, Shunpo does trash damage, her dagger drop is slow and her dagger pick up is weaker. How is it fair for a Talon to rake me at level 1 and take no creep damage, then once he hits 2, all in’s with a Q+W combo along with ignite and bleed for my whole health? All of that is happening as I wait for my daggers to drop. I don’t think she’s bad at all, but she’s just frustrating to play compared to these other assassins.

So like looking into things, and with the help of mobalytics Kat seems to be lowkey eviscerated.

A **high damage based Meta **that doesn't have Katarina! A champ that is said to bring "Raw Damage" (I quote that cause I recall riot saying that in one of their videos.) to any team comp is legitimately rarely seen. As a Kat OTP with 3 major accounts named after her, I rarely play her. This is so bloody disgusting and it stands true with the recently over buffed Fizz, and an amazing Akali rework kit which outclasses Katarinas, I can go on for ages but I think Y'all get my point. She can't even go toe to toe with like 70% the current most played match ups. (Talon, Zed, Ahri too also over buffed, Fizz, etc...) (Might OTP Akali, 10 games on her and I average my kdas around 20/5/10, amazing . -.- )

Every time I post something about Kata I get instantly -10 on the EUW board, there are so many possibilities that riot has to make her a balanced healthy champion for the game while listening to Katarina mains. Q is a mess > 3 targets hit only, that's her only wave clear ability in her kit, I don't count her passive because if she waste it people are jumping on you and trading you W is a mess> why would an assassin throw a dagger up in the air instead of spinning immediately like her old W? UGH E is a mess> it's a blink... with cast time enough said R is a mess> you will never be able to channel 100% of her ult, making it 1/3 effective (if you are lucky) Passive is a mess> 90% of her damage is here... why?!
