Pantheon Rework Idea

Just a simple rework.

Passive: Aegis of Protection - Using abilities or basic attacks will grant you **Aegis **. At 5 **Aegis **, you will immediately leap a small distance towards your cursor and raise your shield up, blocking all enemy projectile and basic attacks for 1.5 second. 12 second cooldown. You won't gain Aegis while Aegis of Protection is on cooldown.

Q: Heartseeker Strike - Pantheon strike with his spears **3 **times in a narrow line, each strike does physical damage and slow enemies hit by 15% (stacks) for 1.55 seconds.

W: **Overwhelm **- Requires 4 stacks of Aegis to activate.

Passive: Your abilities and basic attacks will critically strike enemies below 30% health for 160% damage unless critical strike from external source does more damage. Active: Leap forward a small distance and then bashing all enemies with your shield, dealing a small amount of physical damage and stunning all of them for 1 second. Will put Aegis of Protection on a 6 second cooldown.

E: Triumphant Unity - Grant all nearby allies increased health regeneration, ability power, attack damage and 5% damage reduction for 8 seconds. When you and ally champions stand very close to each other, the bonus is tripled and the duration is increased by 4 seconds.

R: Grand Skyfall - After a 3 second delay, Pantheon charges in the direction of your cursor and then leaps into the sky while still following your cursor. You can reactivate this ability to fall down and unleash a shockwave around Pantheon and a huge erosion of material in a cone facing Pantheons direction or you can reach the very end of this ult and let it activate by itself.

The shockwave around Pantheon does physical damage and the cone attack does more physical damage.

Forgot to mention that his W will consume the Aegis stack.

Pantheon does need a rework I believe. With his current kit the only factor that controls his power is damage, which is a terrible state to be in. This makes him hard to balance and either he will be too strong or too weak. The two options you have with Pantheon is build pretty much full damage and try to operate like an assassin, or build tanky and fight like all the other bruisers. Pantheon is currently terrible in both roles. As an assassin he is overshadowed due to his low mobility. As a tank he is just as bad if not worse since he does no damage and has next to no cc. The only team where Pantheon could be of use on is a team that goes for high map mobility, Even on that kind of a team I believe Shen has him beat. His ultimate has potential to be a good initiating tool, but the cast is so long that it's unreliable. Pantheon is strong early on, but when it gets to late game he will be among the weakest on either team even if he did well early.
