Yorick Rework

So, this is what my brother and I came up with for a neat idea on a way to rework the infamous Yorick.

Passive - Yoricks ghouls gain a percent of all of his stats, whenever a ghoul takes damage Yorick will take a percent of that damage, the ghouls are permanent until killed, and he can only have one out at a time (summoning another would unsummon the first). Yorick will be mana-less

All ghouls can be controlled like Annie's tibbers, or Shaco's clone, and will not proc on hits

Q - Omen of War - Summons a melee ghoul next to Yorick. This ghoul will give Yorick bonus armour and magic resist as long as it is alive, the ghoul will also do damage scaling with Yoricks armour.

W - Omen of Pestilence - Summons ranged a ghoul next to Yorick. This ghoul will give Yorick a slow on his autos, the ghouls autos will scale with it's ad (which scales with Yoricks ad) and also slows on hit, both slows will scale with Yorick's magic resist.

E - Omen of Famine - Summons a melee ghoul next to Yorick. This ghoul will give Yorick missing health heal on his autos, and the ghoul will also heal him on it's autos based on missing health (autos also scaling with ad).

R - Omen of Death - Suppresses everyone in an area around Yorick, and summons all three ghouls, when summoned from this ability the ghouls are not controllable and will attack the nearest suppressed target. When the suppression ends, Yorick will gain a brief amount of time (maybe 10 seconds) to beable to control all three ghouls, but after that, they will be unsummoned.

Another thing we were thinking was to give him an apocalypse bar for his ulti, that way there is something to play around, like Gnar, instead of just having him be manaless like Garen or Katarina. The idea was that the more filled the bar the more devastating his ulti, and he would fill by killing things, like monsters and minions. So initially he would only have one ghoul out (whichever one he already has summoned, or if none summoned then war would come out), and after he filled to the next section a second one would come out (summoned based which is already summoned, moving to the right, so if war is out pestilence will come out too, if pestilence is out famine will come out, and if famine is already out then war comes out), and if none are out then war and pestilence will come out, and at the third bar all three will be summoned. While people are being suppressed we were thinking that the ghouls can also gain a movement and attack speed buff, possibly also scaling with the apocalypse bar.

I like yorick the way he is but I play him jungle. Full hp and manage after full jungle clear and a few ganks. Can also solo dragon at level 3. Yorick doesn't need a rework to me his skills set works perfectly fine when built right.

Riot are so unhappy with Yorick that he's been removed from the free champion rotation since a few months after his release, and he was released in 2011. He ranges from incredibly useless to incredibly anti-fun to lane against. Riot have stated for a number of years that he's going to receive a full relaunch, and officially announced that it's coming mid to late this year.

He is one of the few champs who desperately need a rekit, along with Taric (who's about to come), Urgot, Eve, and Galio.

Its said its for visual update and animations, not a change of kit.

Please reread it. Galio is in a category all on his own.

Personally speaking it sounds like it gives him a lot of counter play as well as making him stay a minionmancer like riot intended. Hope riot does something like that, counters to home would be someone like Illiao with all of her AOE damage.
