I've never seen official confirmation from riot saying if they are or aren't allowed to be used in game. I would like to know! Please Notice me Sempai! If they are I want to try making some but if they aren't i'll just forget about it!

Tilomentry1 votesThey are allowed at the moment. For the most part, moding League is only bad if it gives you an unfair advantage over your opponents. Changing in game models doesn't do that. The most it can do is screw up your sense of the hit box if the model is that much different from the actual champion. But this doesn't affect other players. So until/unless someone finds a way to make custom skins give an advatage over others, its ok to use.

Project omen1 votesCustom skins only affect your client. The other players don't see them and don't get affected gameplay-wise in any way at the moment. So yes, they are allowed. I use custom skins and maps myself.

Project omen1 votesThere is an app called Wooxy. Look for it in a site called mapskins.com. It's free and what it basically does is use the custom skins in your client. Download it and follow the instructions. When you do that, there is a site called leaguecraft.com. You look for custom skins there (at least I do). Each custom skin has ratings so you know if it's legit and safe. You download your skins, you follow the instructions and then you drag the file/folder to wooxy and install them. Hope this helps! Project omen1 votesIn case you can't find any posts from Riot regarding custom skins, look at it from this perspective: No one will tell if you are using them, not even Riot, because it's in your own client.
