RNG is what's happening.
But hey, at least now you'll have plenty of Essence for when you grab something you do like, assuming you don't want to claim your free Twitch with those shards.
I think it's stupid how often you get champion shards in there. I understand that it's great for people who don't have all the champions yet, but there should be way more uses for them for the people who already do have all the champions already. I already have all the champions and I have 41 champion shards. Champion mastery 6/7 is not enough uses for champion shard/essence to be getting a crazy amount of champion shards. I know RNG is RNG but if you wanted people who already own all champions to spend money for hextech boxes, they shouldn't be getting 60% of their boxes to be champion shards.
