Ward Death Animations Concept
So, watching worlds a thought occurred to me. Wards just fall over. Why not add something like special ward deaths. If I'm going to sit there beating on this pink S.O.B. for 3 to 5 hits, and let's face it: I'm a godly 20-0 Darius today, Axeing away at this thing and then it just plinks over? So a couple examples: It looks to me like the standard ward skin is made out of the same type of crystal that the nexus is, so a little mini nexus explosion for when it dies! How about the new optic ward? Well it can just use the Project intro animation but in reverse when it dies, just a quick TP-zap out.
Now, that's a lot of work for no monetary gain which made me start thinking why not, similarly to chromas, you could buy and equip ward death animations to your wards. So, if you love your Deadfall ward but also love the Mini-Nexus Explosion death, you can do that. Here's just a few ideas off the top of my head:
Ward Death (W.D.) Inferno- Ward incinerates itself, probably against the behest of it's ward-mom it played with fire (Easy mode, use a tiny brand's pillar of flame under the skin) W.D. Project- The project spawn effect either reverse or standard version. Either would be great! W.D Teleport- The ward gets out of there with a little teleport, probably to a little farm up state. Where the ward can run and play with all the other wards... W.D. Eject- The ward, like a savvy, tiny, ward-james-bond ejects out of presumably his ward Aston Martin (you could use the same animation as when rumble dies) W.D. Poro- A poro comes out of no where and runs off with the ward! (Legendary Ward Death, come on riot. I'm printing you money here) W.D. Nexus Explosion- After an intense match of League of Micro-Legends on the back of the ward the game is decided when the ward nexus explodes! W.D. Nuke- Kaboom. W.D. Freeze- The ward freezes and shatters, having not brought a fur coat along whilst exploring the Fjord, I bet.
I'm sorry, I'm no artist so if someone more talented than I would like to make some concepts that would be cool.
