Sharqoth, the Amalgamation of Souls
Sharqoth, the Amalgamation of Souls would be a primary Tank and secondary Support who would thrive as a bot lane support. He would be a creature of souls created by Thresh. I imagine him as having a large set of armor while his physical being is the ghostly green souls, with a look similar to Xerath's body. He would be large - about the same size as Nautilus or perhaps a little smaller. He would have tools to provide protection for allies while disrupting enemies. This is a conceptual design so I have not come up with specific numbers in many spots.
P - Soul Sense: Every 10 seconds, nearby enemy champions around Sharqoth emit a ghostly light as their souls become visible 1.5 seconds. This would have about the same range as Nocturne's ultimate. Sharqoth and his teammates cannot determine which champion it is; they only see an indicator. hidden passive: Sharqoth's soul counts as 2 souls when absorbed by an enemy Thresh.
Q - Soul Seeker: Sharqoth launches a ball of souls toward a target spot, exploding in a medium-sized radius. Enemy's caught in the explosion will take damage and be slowed for a few seconds. If the initial explosion does not hit an enemy champion, the ball will begin to move toward Sharqoth. If the ball comes in contact with an enemy champion, it grabs them and rushes back to Sharqoth. The ball can grab any enemy champion along the way. The pull does not deal damage; only the initial impact of the ball. If the initial impact strikes an enemy champion, the ball disappears.
W - Soul Blaze: Sharqoth marks an enemy unit, causing their soul to blaze with an eerie green light, granting vision of the target for the duration. While the enemy is marked, Sharqoth's allies gain bonus armor and magic resistance while within range. The mark would last for 3/3.5/4/4.5/5 seconds.
E - Soul Assault: After targeting a spot, Sharqoth begins to channel for 1.25 seconds. After channeling, Sharqoth blinks to the target location, dealing damage and taunting all nearby enemies for up to 1.5 seconds.
R - Soul Obelisk: Sharqoth summons a soul obelisk at target location. The obelisk is impassable terrain but is not quite as thick as a Trundle pillar. After 2 seconds, the obelisk shoots chains at the souls of all nearby enemy champions, dealing damage. Champions closer to the obelisk are stunned while champions farther away are slowed for 2 seconds. The obelisk emits the effect of Sharqoth's Soul Blaze but the effect does not stack if allies are in range of the obelisk and an enemy with the Soul Blaze effect. The obelisk disappears 4 seconds after the chain effect.
I tried to imagine a new bot lane tanky support who I would have fun playing as. Sharqoth is a heavy utility champion so his abilities will not deal a lot of damage. His kit would require great foresight as he has to determine where to blink to in order to grab enemies, while also avoiding having his channel interrupted. His Q would require him to decide whether he wants to deal damage and slow or lead the opponent with the chance of pulling them in with the ball. Enemies would have to anticipate where he is going to blink to in order to dodge the taunt and must side-step the Q if they want to avoid being pulled back to their doom. Team fight locations will be very important for both teams to either utilize or thwart the Sharqoth ultimate.
