This years victorious skins should help some of the under-rated champions that could use a skin...like Xerath and or Aurelion Sol who would make really cool visuals out of those skins

It actually IS Sol that's receiving the victorious this year lol.

Nope and I doubt it'd be sol anyway since he's neither dominant in pro or solo play (unless its huhi's). Victorious skins go to champions that proved reliable and strong throughout a season (or up until the skin starts development usually in summer split) and aurelion who actually got reworked, and got the reworked cancelled is certainly not one of those.

Xeraph would be more believable, but I wouldn't know why xeraph got it unless xeraph got a huge moment in the season like maokai did last season. (which so far this season, was him scripting)

Personally I'm expecting something out of this pool: Lulu Fiora Camille Ahri Caitlyn Ivern Kassadin Kennen Orianna Riven Sejuani Twitch Varus Warwick Xayah Ziggs Rengar

I personally think Taliyah will get it, with what a staple pick she's been in competitive play recently.

yea fiora would be good she is reliable and so would ziggs,kennen,orianna,ivern, and kassidin but what im saying is it would be cool to bring a skin to a reliable champ that's under played and under rated...maybe not aurelion sol but xerath is definetley reliable(doesn't need a re -work) and isn't played much... they could do some cool visuals for some of those champs.

Victorious Skins don't work like that though?

Indeed they don't.

Victorious skins only go to those champions that have had a high playrate throughout the season with generally high picks, bans, made memorable moments in pro play ect. They wouldn't give that to a champion that is underplayed, as that's not at all the point of the Victorious skin line.

Huh? Maokai, Morg and Sivir had plenty of skins before gaining their Victorious skins. They were again extreme picks during the seasons for both pro play and solo, when they gained those skins.

Victorious skin won't be revealed till October anyway (for testing), even though they probably have many ideas for who it will be by now as they do work on those for quite some time. Though, Taliyah still doesn't see enough play to really have the qualifications of having one.

Kennen could have one, Ivern...eh, it's unlikely as Riot had said they won't do a second skin for any champion as a Limited skin since Elise's Victorious skin had a huge backlash as most people couldn't get it that really wanted a new skin on her at the time.

they had plenty of skins but not high pick or ban rates was my point...and im not talking **** but kennen is balanced and requires some amount of skill and so does ivern... I think those two champs would be good choices... and as for taliyah she was played yesterday by c9 I believe idk one of the pro games yesterday

Morg had 16 picks and 57 bans during the 2014 summer season.

For 2015 summer season Sivir had 29 picks and 51 bans

That is huge.

It may be 2017 but they will not change the way this skin line was perceived. It was made for the reason of showing a champion that is truly Victorious through out the season. Hence the name.

that's why I am sticking with taliyah would be realistic shes reliable and played everywhere. ok ill agree sivir is viable but she needs more range she gets destroyed by anyone with range and she doesn't stand a chance because of the reduced damage that her w does...like her half crits I mean I get how it would be broken if she hit full crits on five people at once in a fight but... I don't think she has a great kit to farm like adcs are supposed to I mean not compared to Caitlyn or xayah or jinx... but who knows im sure there are great sivir players and I love her spell shield for mana that's great and her ult is good and her q does good damage but.. I don't think she has the range or farming capabilities other champs have

Fucking Maokai dominated the tanks for two seasons in Pro play, and was a pick or ban when Grasp + IBG Sunfire tanks were running amok.

Literately early last year? (if we're talking Grasp + IBG Sunfire tank meta) Which is why Maokai got the Victorious skin for Season 6.

Like it or not, the Victorious line is reserved for VICTORIOUS champions; champions that have proved themselves to be absolutely annoying in the season they got the skin in, for both Ranked Solo and Pro-play. You can say that said champions don't see much play now all you want, the fact is that in the season they got their Victorious skin, they were popular and pick-or-ban.

Now, I'm not denying you haven't made some good, more reasonable suggestions as of your first post, like suggesting Ivern or Taliyah, just remember the main deciding factor of the line: They must have been highly impactful in the game for that season, if not for that season and prior ones.

I'm mostly referring to your Original post where you suggested A.Sol or Xerath or other "underplayed champions" when the skin line in question is the antithesis of that.

ok when I mean underplayed I mean not top ten pick or ban in pros but still played like I said...taliyah...I get not aurelion sol I totally understand that...but xerath is definitely reliable and is in need of a skin... and a victorius skin would look good on him that was more of just a suggestion lol

well listen its not 2014 in the first four seasons sorry that's a long time ago things change and personally some champions that are played in pros and in lower ranks that aren't the most played could get that skin FOR EXAMPLE... kennen, ivern, and taliyah would be great choices.
