I’ve been watching skin spotlights a lot and have seen what you have done with these 2 skins. I feel like with all the work you have done on these two skins you should have more than 10 people playing with these 2 skins. I really don’t care if you make them legendary or put them on there for only one day, just put them back up. Please? -Very Grateful Summoner
As a Judgement Kayle user, so long as we older players get some form of recognition, like a free border or something, I’m totes down to share.
They were never in the shop though. Silver was a skin gotten with the Psychical copy of the game back in 2009, and Judgement was a skin gotten as a gift in season 1 for playing 10 games. So, they'd have to do them elsewhere, like mentioned the Essence Emporium or Honor rewards.
I actually don't agree with adding them to the shop. That's TOO easy of a way to get them. I would much prefer Judgment go into the Level 5 Honor Capsules, and a variant of Silver be added to the Blue Essence Emporium alongside Urfwick.
I just want them available, but I think the shop just isn't a fancy enough way to obtain them.
No they are exclusive to season 1 players. Riot will never bring it back.
Im mixed. On one hand, I think as long as the original owners are recognized, new versions would be okay. However, I also kind of understand wanting to keep them rare. I'm personally biased because I REALLY like Silver Kayle, but I do understand the value something has when ti isn't released.
As long as the original owners get something extra I think its a good Idea.
IDK about the shop, but a Grey WW/ Medieval Twitch sort of thing would be nice
There was a thread a LOOOOONG time ago asking about this very thing when they locked out promo card skins. (Pax jax/tf, championship riven, etc) They commented that "at the time" there was no plans to release any of these skins again at a later date. Again, it was "at the time", so maybe they will. Who knows.
Personally, I think maybe putting it behind the gems wall or some sort of legacy vault re-opening event like they've done in the past would be a good way to go about it. But, at the same time they would have to reimburse players who purchased these skins before. Maybe granting them a border, icon, and RP would work again but I doubt it. (Maybe give players with the skins that were relaunched a token redeemable for a free non-random legacy skin. That would be cool.)
I don't like it. But I am selfish and I got over championship being released. But I like that there is something on my account to recognize that I have played longer then like 90% of the players. That isn't a stupid icon.
I think that exclusives in general are a good thing and I flat out hate it when companies take those away. But, again, selfish. And I bought mistletoe Leblanc when they brought it back so I am probably a hypocrite.
There would have to be some form of compensation for the original people. The skins are almost 10 years old, so honestly the rework gave them the quality and flare that they deserved back then, if the tech had existed.
As someone who does own Judgement Kayle but not Silver, I still think they shouldn't be brought back. If you can obtain them very rarely through the Loot System, then yeah, I'd settle for that but I don't think they should be outright purchasable. We're not getting King Rammus back any time soon and that was only available to Beta players. I think the exclusiveness should be retained, and making them easily purchasable removes the majority of that entirely.

no, silver kayle should remain exclusive as it is, the only way to make it up to original owners like me is to make a new exclusive skin for kayle and give that to me, I don't care about borders, icons, emotes or any of that useless stuff, champions and skins, that's all I care about, good skins mind you, not bloody chroma's, so there's nothing rito can do to make it up to me if they just release silver kayle for da moneyz
well considering they released championship riven 2016, they should be able to do exactly that with a lot of other exclusive skins
