Lore

Lastarus is the only remaining Guardian, his duty is to protect his pride and defend his honor, by devoting his aeon long life to keeping the Darkin Source out of the reach of anyone and everyone but himself.

There was a time, long ago, before the generation of modern civilization, before even the epoch of the frozen watchers, stretching beyond the boundaries of recorded history known as the dark age, over which reigned the Darkin, a race of ruthless blood-thirsty creatures, with a desire for war and battle so outrageously potent, that they were unmatched and uncontested throughout the lands, except by the ones known as the Guardians.

These beings were bound to their pride like a hawk to its prey, from the age of 7 they were trained merely to defend their race. They were a race so infused in defensive battle that they had their armour welded to their bodies. In order to ensure maximum survivability against the Darkin they were taught only to fight back, never to start the fight, this manner of combat secured the proceeding of their people for many a century.

The Guardians concealed a special stone in a secret temple that they had been able to take from the blade of a captured enemy; they called it the Darkin Source. Each century 4 Guardians would be selected and given knowledge and power from their predecessor so as to protect and study the Darkin Source, these were called Seekers. Another was called upon to guard the temple as if it were his life, this was Lastarus’ task.

During an unexpected attack from the enemy, the Guardian race was abolished in a matter of instances and the Darkin were headed straight for the temple. As a protective measure the Seekers gave their power, along with their lives, to form a protective barrier, not only to keep the Darkin Source safe, but also to give Lastarus strength enough to fight off the Darkin himself, he succeeded, swinging his Hammer-Shield through the crowd of adversaries and slicing them with his Axe-Blade. Unable to break his defenses or counter his attacks, the Darkin fell, one by one, until only a handful remained, unbeknown to Lastarus, lying on the battleground, surviving only by draining their Blood Wells. Lastarus' great, new found strength and power were not only a blessing, but also a curse, as from now he was bound to the Darkin Source which was constantly grabbing at his mind trying to make him turn from Guardian to Darkin. He now seeks to annihilate what remains of the Darkin, for this is the only way for him to be rid of his burden.

Abilities

Passive - Guardian Plate Armour

Lastarus gains 1/1.5/2/2.5 armour and magic resist (at levels 1, 6, 11 and 16) each time he is damaged, this lasts for 5 seconds, and stacks up to 4 times.

When Lastarus equips his Hammer-Shield he gains 10/15/20/30 armour and magic resist (at levels 1, 6, 11 and 16) but his attack speed is reduced by 7%.

When Lastarus equips his Axe-Blade he gains 5/10/20/30 attack damage (at levels 1, 6, 11 and 16) for 3 seconds. Additionally his movement speed is increased by 10.

Q - Paralyzing Pummel/Dash Strike

Equipped with Hammer-Shield: Lastarus pummels a nearby target enemy target with is Hammer-Shield stunning them for 0.75 seconds and dealing 60/70/80/90/110(+7.5% bonus HP) magic damage.

Cooldown: 12/11/10/9/8 seconds Cost: 45 mana

Equipped with Axe-Blade: Lastarus dashes to and over a nearby target, to the opposite side on which he is on, and slices down, dealing 70/85/100/115/140 (+1.0 AD)(+2% enemies current HP) physical damage. This ability also applies on-hit effects. (max. 450 damage to monsters)

Cooldown: 12/11/10/9/8 seconds Cast range: 500 units Cost: 60 mana

W - Heroic Outbreak/Lacerate

Equipped with Hammer-Shield: Lastarus smashes his shield on the ground creating a shock-wave knocking back all enemies surrounding him 100 units.

Range: 300 unit radius. Cooldown: 15/13.5/12/10.5/9 seconds cooldown Cost: No cost

Equipped with Axe-Blade: Lastarus' next basic attack will grant him a small burst of speed (10/12/14/16/18% for 1.5 seconds) and deal an extra 50 (+0.5 Magic Resist and Armor) magic damage.

Cooldown: 6 seconds at all ranks. Cost: 65 mana

E - Shining Bulwark/Crosscutting Thrust

Equipped with Hammer-Shield: Lastarus cloaks himself in light, giving him a shield that absorbs 50/65/80/95/110 (+5% max. HP)(+0.2 AP) and grants him 15% tenacity.

Cooldown: 15/14/13/12/10 seconds Cost: 70/75/80/85/90 mana

Equipped with Axe-Blade: Lastarus forms an "x" shape infront of him with his blade and lunges at it with the point of his Axe-Blade sendig it forward. The cross strikes the first enemy hit dealing 60/70/80/90/100 (+4.5% enemie's max health) physical damage and applying the"greavous wound" debuff.

R - Battle Stance: Defense/Battle Stance: Offense

Battle Stance: Defense: Lastarus switches from his Axe-Blade to his Hammer-Shield granting him new abilities ("Paralyzing Pummel", "Heroic Outbreak" and "Shining Bulwark").

Battle Stance: Offense: Lastarus switches from his Hammer-Shield to his Axe-Blade increasing his attack range from 125 to 180 and he gains new abilities ("Dash Strike", "Lacerate" and "Crosscutting Thrust").

Cooldown: 6 seconds (the cooldown of this ability follows through to the other stance. Cost: No cost

Quotes and Animations I need some help with these. :D

Animations

Walking:

  • Equipped with Hammer-Shield: Holds it in front of him and ducks behind it, almost like he's pushing it forward.

  • Equipped with Axe-Blade: Holds it in both hands with the tip pointing diagonal-right and walks/runs standing upright.

Idol:

  • Equipped with Hammer-Shield: Puts it in front of him and starts sucker-punching it like its a punching bag.

  • Equipped with Axe-Blade: Stands it up in the ground and then proceeds to spin it by giving it a push on one of the blades.

Attacking:

  • Equipped with Hammer-Shield: He wears it on one arm, so it could be like he is "punching" the enemy with it.

  • Equipped with Axe-Blade: Uses it like a normal 2H axe.

Crits:

  • Equipped with Hammer-Shield: Picks up the Hammer-Shield with both hands and brings it down onto the enemy.

  • Equipped with Axe-Blade: lunges the Axe-Blade forward like a spear, then slices upwards, as if trying to cut the enemy in half.

Laugh:

  • Places whichever weapon he currently has equipped on his right, upright, and his left hand on his side and begins to laugh.

The only thing wrong with this is that you haven't defined his damages as magic or physical, you just put damage. Other than that it's a good design.

I like it, I was honestly thinking it would be cool to see another heavily armored knight character other than just Leona and someone that could actually do damage. I like his tanking kit as well, i think his offensive kit may be a bit too strong. But that's just my opinion on it, i'm not too good with making up ratios or anything like. I do like him though :) keep it up.
