New Champion unveiled!!! (Hopefully) Xyren, The Desert Fox

Xyren The Desert Fox Background: Xyren is a young man from Shurima, born to a family of outcasts forced to wander the world due to his ancestor Xerath’s betrayal of Azir. Xyren was taken from his mother Kyra an Avarosan medicine woman at birth and raised by his father Xyroc until age eight when his father sold him to a Noxian slaver to be trained and compete in the fleshring. Xyren thrived in the harsh environment having to be quick, nimble, learning to fight and kill, winning match after match, until the age of sixteen he awoke his latent magical ability. Using his new found powers to his advantage Xyren escaped but not before finding his father to kill him and thanking him for the hard lessons the boy had to learn. Now a free man Xyren was forced to find a path in life, and knowing only how to kill he became a mercenary for hire. While making a name for himself, Xyren crossed paths with Sivir several times both as enemies and allies varying from job to job and the two gained a mutual respect and attraction for each other. It wasn’t until Xyren was captured by a Noxian trap and sentenced to die and that he was saved by Sivir (Though she was hired to do it or so she claims) that he gained a deeper affection for the “Battle Mistress”. Having discovered that Sivir is the descendant of Azir himself and of Xerath’s escape, Xyren comes forward with his family history ready to accept any hate and scorn, but it never came with Sivir stating that he is his own man not his ancestor’s shadow, to which Nasus would agree, though Azir himself is wary of Xyren. With the allure of adventure, gold and the chance to destroy Xerath and clear his family name, Xyren joins Sivir, Nasus and Azir in The League of Legends.

Relations • Xyren and Sivir have both respect and affection for one another. They are in a relationship but do not openly discuss it. They also have a friendly rivalry to out preform the other on jobs and in battle. • Nasus admires Xyren’s determination to right his ancestor’s wrongs, but also enjoys annoying the mortal from time to time with complex word play. Xyren grew up on tales of Nasus’s legend as a child. • Xyren and Azir have a begrudging respect for one another but due to Azir’s hostile mistrust of Xyren for his bloodline they tend to butt heads a lot. • Xyren hates Xerath with all his being for abandoning his family, honor, and morality in his lust for power, vowing to destroy Xerath and all who follow him cleansing his family’s honor. • Xyren has a strong dislike for Noxians; however he respects Katarina as a master assassin. • Xyren and Draven have fought many times stemming back from the former’s days as a gladiator. Draven was to be Xyren’s executioner but the latter escaped but not before both left scars on the other. • Xyren likes to spar and drink with Yasuo in his spare time. • Xyren, Xin Zhao, and Alistar are friends and have a mutual understanding as former gladiators.

Abilities Passive: Quick Wit - Fighting has honed Xyren's mental fortitude; he keeps calm under pressure and as such he gains x% movement speed each second [up to a cap] he stays in combat. Q: Arcane Blast - Xyren fires a bolt of arcane energy that explodes upon impact dealing damage then slowing briefly. W: Arcane Aegis - Xyren shields himself in a magical shield for X seconds blocking x % of enemy spells, and when it expires the shield detonates stunning nearby enemies for a very short time. E: Vault - Xyren quickly leaps over a selected target propelling him forward a short distance ahead. Can be used on friendly and enemy champions and minions alike. R: Dance of the Burning Blades - For the next x amount of seconds Xyren ignites his swords with arcane fire. During this time, Xyren's basic attacks cause him to dash quickly to his targets and light them aflame for x % of their max health as magic damage overtime.

Trivia: • Xyren’s favorite food is Razorfin Steaks. • Xyren’s favorite drink is Graggy Ice. • Xyren has been searching for his mother who disappeared shortly after his birth. • Xyren was born in the Freljord however he considers himself Shuriman having been raised in the desert prior to his time in Noxus. • Xyren gets his dark hair and tan skin from his father, but was told he got his eyes and face from his mother. Xyren suspected this angered his father or made him feel guilt thus causing Xyroc to get rid of him. • Xyren’s dream is to have a family and be a good father. • Xyren’s biggest fear is becoming like his father and ancestor. • Xyren has traveled the world • Xyren’s first kill was at nine years old • Xyren is plagued by nightmares of his violent upbringing, though they stop when he sleeps with Sivir. Nocturne has had no part in causing these dreams. • Xyren’s favorite hobby is dancing • Xyren hates spiders and is thoroughly creeped out by Elise.

I didn't give him stats because what may look balanced now may be under/over powered later on.

I don't have any expectations but If Riot takes inspiration from anything on here be it Xyren himself, his abilities or just this skin ideas I would die lol

Pros/Strengths:

• Strong Mid/Late Game
• Strong 1v1
• Very strong at chasing/Escape
• Very Strong at focusing a target.

Cons/Weaknesses:

• Weak Start/Early Game
• If timed right easy to CC lock
• Weak in Group/Team Fights due to lack of AoE/Splash Damage (Excluding his Q)
• Easy to Gank if positioned well
