Just a thought at everyone who doesn't like it, I want Championship Riven pretty bad, but I'm a new player. Old players shouldn't get so salty when they are re-released for people who never got the chance to get them. Bring back more old skins please.

Challenger skins could easily come back once a year, the limited skins for players should be the ones you earn with ranking during seasons. How is it fair to a player who wants to start just because they didn't play a few years ago?
I liked the fact I could get older Snowdown skins from years prior in a bundles. That was awesome. I don't see a problem with other players having access to buyable skins, it's not like you earned those ones anyways.

Basic skins (390-3250) can be bought with RP Reward skins (Victorious skins) must be earned by reaching Gold or Higher Pax & Riot Skins were only given out at Pax events (some Riot skins appeared in the store for a short time) Special edition skins (Black Alistar, Tribal Ryze, Human Ryze, ect) were given with Pre-ordering the game collectors edition, winning Riot sponsored tournaments, ect.
So there are many ways to acquire a skin, but it depends on what kind of skin.

Hoffmisc1 votesIf you bought a skin, and knew that it was only going to be sold for... say a month, never to be released again, and then because so many newer players wanted the skin so they released it again, how would you feel?
When you bought the skin, you thought that it was only going to be available for a month, and then suddenly it's available again.
Re-releasing skins would net Riot more money however Riot also values the "collector's sentiment" than many people can develop with their skins.
The fact that Riot hasn't made limited skins available is because they care about their community and know how much backlash they would get, making and skin limited would lose the meaning of 'limited'. Another thing that this proves, Riot listens to their community and tries to please as many people as possible (Bloodmoon Elise, Pink vs. Red) so since they haven't released skins like that, I think it just proves that the 'skins should always be avalible' mentality is in the minority.

I guess that's just one of the issues here, I just don't buy skins all that often.

So being loyal to a company for a period of time and giving them your money doesn't count as 'earning' in any way? Because the last time I checked Riot cared about their players and rewards them for such loyalty, ex. limited skins.

Sukishoo1 votesThey've said it wouldn't be coming back before 2016 so just gotta wait a bit longer. Since they have changed most of their Limited Edition skins to Legacy (with the exception of certain ones), it will be seen again soon enough.
