Thresh really doesn't look like a support.. nor does his lore support him being a support.. he was always on his own and was always taking souls.. doesn't mean he should be able to do something besides supp? Maybe make him a bit tougher.. do more damage and have faster moves or something. This is only my opinion but to me it feels like he isn't one of the good supports because he is so slow and isn't really that much pressure.
Thresh is fine as is, as a Thresh 3rd main. he has always been very strong and is the Jack of all Supports.
He doesnt do extremely amazing at any of the other supports traights, but he does PRettty well at Every one of them.
Try thinking outside "The Box" HAHAHAHAH and you will find that he is very useful.
What, do supports all have to be scantily clad women or little kids? Maybe supports actually want to be badasses every once and a while? Jaysus.
He seems like bard to me.. most are garbage and make you think the champion is bad and all of the sudden you get a good one and suddenly realize he just has a pretty high skill floor
As a Thresh Main I have to tell you this.
If you think he has no pressure then you've never played against a good Thresh. If my adc isn't an idiot the enemy team has to stay under tower or get out traded to the point where we can get a double under tower when my q is up again.
Even his best counter can be easily out played with him.
Like the only thing that's hard for him to handle is people like Zed or Kat who can go all in and kill your adc before you can do much.
And don't get me started on how easy it is to defend tower with him. If you don't mess up you can get an easy kill or even double.
Thresh isn't made to peel, he is made to tank for the ADC and make sure the enemy doesn't get to deal their full damage potential. Like if you tank and your adc takes no damage you're pretty much set for snow balling.
